Quick check in: How's everybody liking the book so far? Really drama-filled like y'all asked😈Zuria
"Aight. I'a see y'all niggas later." I watched as Mitch dapped up all of his friends and his security as I stood by the door and yawned dramatically ready to go.
His friends noticed what I was doing and they couldn't help but to laugh at me. Mitch didn't find it funny though, he didn't even crack a smile. But I didn't give a fuck what he found funny, it wasn't my job to.
He wasn't my nigga.
"Don't forget, grand opening, this Friday. I need all the shawties I hired to be here and trained tomorrow and the next day. Make sure they look good and know all the rules."
"We know nigga, pay out fees and house fees." Pablo went on obviously tired of him too and I couldn't help but to laugh.
"And the managers I hired should be here tomorrow too. Each station has a GM.." Mitch continued on and I sighed loudly, fake yawning again as the entire team tried hard not laugh at me but I cracked a smile at them since Mitch had his back turned to me.
I knew I was being childish but I was sick of being around him at this point. He'd pissed me off all day today and I was just ready to get back to Retta's and get some sleep.
"The GM's already know what to do so they'll help out with training." He went on telling them as I huffed.
"Alright! They get it. What the fuck?" I finally spoke as he went on and on and he stopped talking once I said that and everybody turned to look at me, including him.
"GM, stations, rules, okay..like what the fuck? Why are we still talking about this? It's almost midnight." I snapped at him and I was only trying to be petty because of the way I was feeling but I knew that it was getting under his skin.
His team snickered lowly, trying not to laugh but I could tell by the looks on their faces that they really wanted to. They just wanted their jobs more.
"Aight, y'all got that?" Mitch chuckled angrily, trying to hide his anger but I always knew when he was angry. I could hear it all in his voice.
"Yeah, boss. We got it." Jay chuckled, dapping him up again before everybody began to disperse.
"Nigga, you got a piece of work on you." I heard Pablo mumble in laughter.
"Mmhm." Was all Mitch said and I couldn't help but to smile pettily at Pablo as we all finally left out of the front door.
Parting ways from everybody, I slid my arms into Mitch's hoodie since it was colder now because of the night wind.
Mitch walked beside me saying nothing as I smiled to myself. He was so upset but I really didn't care. He liked to play with my feelings so now I was doing the same to him.
Guess he didn't like when those tables turned.
Finally making it to the parking lot, Mitch unlocked the truck as he walked over to my side and stood in front o the door. I raised my eyebrows since I figured he was going to open the door for me despite everything that I'd just did back there.
Rolling my eyes at him, he looked down at me and licked his lips angrily as he ran his hands through his beard. I stood there waiting but he ended up moving and walking away as I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What the fuck are you doing dumbass, I want to go home!" I screamed at him but he oddly stayed calm.
"Com'ere." His deep voice finally spoke as he made his way to the back of the truck and I huffed, walking over to him.
