Melissa's PoV:

"Josh it wasn't my fault," I pleaded, crying. "It was an accident."

"Even after knowing that you killed Austin, I didn't desert you. But, you are a cheat, Liss. You are a traitor."

I couldn't believe Josh said that. "Please don't say that, Josh. I never meant to."

"You are a bad omen. You killed me too."

"No. You aren't dead."

"Josh. It's high time you understand her. We must leave now. Come with me," it was Austin.

"Austin..." I couldn't believe my eyes. Austin was back. "Austin where were you lately?"

"In Heaven."

"You are kidding. You don't believe in Heaven, do you?"

"One has to believe, once they get in there," he said irritatingly. He turned to Josh and said, "Let's go, Josh."

"Where are you taking him," I asked.

"To make Josh believe in Heaven as well." Austin turned to leave while Josh followed him.

"No, wait." They were gliding in the air, slowly. I ran after them. Though they were moving slow, I couldn't get to them. I was even slower. "Don't leave me. You can't go. Wait for me." I started weeping.

"You are a bad omen," they chorused repeatedly as they went.

"No. NOOOOO," I shouted and cried.

I felt severe pain in my cheeks. I was trembling as I mumbled, "Josh." I opened my eyes. But it was still blurry. "Josh..." I cried audibly to which Josh replied.

"Open your damn eyes, Liz. Can't you hear me?"

There was another slap on my cheeks. I opened my eyes in a start. I blinked my eyes to clear the blurry curtain that prevented a better vision. As the tears that formed a curtain were cleared, I saw Josh standing outside beside me and watching me with wide eyes. I got out throwing my arms around Josh's neck and cried, "Josh you are not dead. You are alive. I didn't kill you. I'm not a bad omen." Tears flowed down out of relief and happiness.

"You went mad, don't you?" asked Josh once I released him. "It wasn't an accident at all. We just skidded into this forest. But before anything could happen, you went to Heaven. Thank God, I thought you would never re-come to consciousness."

I was embarrassed. "How long was I gone?"

"It's been 3 hours. I was trying to start this damn thing. But I don't know what went wrong." He went to the front and worked into the hood. "I'm not a pro in mechanic repairs. I wish Austin were here," he murmured but those words got into me.
