Mira's cab was here. It was time to bid goodbye to the Gopals. She swallowed hard as she tried to look calm and somewhat normal. Gopal, and Padma walked Mira downstairs while Sri helped her with the luggage. When Sri handed her luggage to the cab driver her, he noticed Mira looking disturbed and asked,

''Hey Mira, you okay?''

Mira nodded and gave him a faint smile as she thought about he had affectionately accepted her as his future sister-in-law. She fought the urge to tell him that they won't become family after all. Just when Mira had started dreaming about becoming a part of their family, reality had shown her a completely different picture. Sri frowned at Mira and asked,

''Where's Vicky?''

Mira didn't say anything. He sensed something was wrong then.

''Did Vicky say anything?''

Mira placed her hand on his shoulder and said, ''All the best with your new job. Keep me updated.'' Sri gave Mira a quizzical look before saying,

''Have a safe trip.''

Mira then turned to Padma aunty, who immediately enveloped her in a hug. Padma aunty's gesture made it harder for Mira to hold back tears.

''Thank you so much for everything aunty.''

''Aiyo. You are like our child only. So don't say all this. Give us a call when you reach Bangalore.''

Mira smiled at Padma aunty with a nod and thought about how she had imagined her to be the best mother-in-law if she were to get married to Vikranth. Next, Mira went up to Gopal uncle and thanked him. He placed a hand on her head gently and said,

''God bless you ma.''

With that, she glanced at everyone one last time before getting getting in the cab.

As the cab driver started the car and drove away from the Gopal's apartment, a numb feeling  resided in her. As the cab accelerated, the numbness grew into sorrow. It suddenly dawned upon her how badly things had ended between Vikranth and her.

She felt very lonely that moment, like she was going somewhere far, too far away from him, and even if she wanted to see him again and reconcile, then fate won't allow it. This created a hollow feeling inside her, and it hurt so badly.

Mira didn't realise that she had started crying until the driver asked her something regarding the destination. She wiped her face before answering him. Just then, her phone rang, it was Vikranth. As Mira saw his name on the screen, his words reverberated in her mind,

''My decision won't change Mira.''

Suddenly looking at his name made her furious. She rejected his call before switching off her phone.

Present Day - Bangalore

''Why do men have to be such commitment phobic man?!'' Abirami ask angrily.

''I mean I get it that he doesn't believe in marriage, but he can't just off everything! I mean this is a relationship, not a T.V.!! ''she said stomping back and forth in Mira's apartment.

After listening to Mira's account of her row with Vikranth, Preeti was very concerned for Mira, especially since she wouldn't stop crying on the phone. Preeti didn't want Mira to be alone when she was upset. So she rung up Ramya and Abirami who came to Mira's apartment the following day in the evening to console her. Mira had felt lonely ever since she got back. There was a time when Mira loved being alone, but now the same loneliness felt dreadful. Mira had become a victim to her own thoughts,
