as they strolled through the park, there was silence filling the atmosphere between them. all they could hear were trees rustling through the wind, the sounds of children screaming while running around.

no one spoke a word, just the two males enjoying the refreshing air. changbin didn't know why but after hearing what jisung had told him about his family, he couldn't help but slowly feel emotionally closer.

maybe the younger was more than just a complete flirt. maybe he meant more than he'd initially thought; the thought of seeing his vulnerable side clouded his mind.

somehow spotting an available bench in the distance, changbin eventually pointed at it before turning to face jisung. "let's sit over there." he said, jogging over to sit down.

jisung said nothing as he smiled, following the older to which he sat down beside him. "the weather's nice today." he randomly commented, looking over to give changbin a huge smile.

upon hearing his words, changbin gazed above him, also watching the sky with amazed eyes. "you're right, the weather's usually moody."

"but you know what's even more nice?" jisung suddenly asked, lifting his lips with a smirk as he looked over to changbin who seemingly dropped his gaze down. "being able to see your cute face all day."

"ugh, what's with you?" changbin groaned, slightly rolling his eyes in response. he was taken aback at the sudden comment, not knowing what to say next.

"let's face it. you like my flirting don't you?" jisung questioned with a chuckle, continuing what he wanted to say. "you just want me to flirt with you only."

"as if. i told you i have no interest in you." he rolled his eyes again, moving slightly away from the younger to which he moved even closer.

"you don't have to worry anyways, i'm all yours baby." jisung replied, ignoring his words before giving him a quick wink.

changbin blinked his eyes rapidly, unable to process what he'd just called him again. "w-what, baby?" he unknowingly stuttered when he pulled himself together. "anyways, i'm not here for your flirting."

"aw man, you're not fun." jisung pouted, slouching against the bench before looking over to changbin with a smirk. "but you're still cute anyways so it's fine."

he was about to keep going when changbin eventually glared back at him, making him nervously laugh in defense. "okay, okay. i'll stop." he responded, lifting his hands up.

"and i only came here to see you because i was worried about you..." changbin almost muttered to himself, looking away.

that was when jisung smiled generously, unable to take his relieved eyes off him. "i know and i'm grateful for that."

changbin eventually turned around at his words before giving him a small smile. "so... if you ever feel that you're suffering alone or if you need someone to be by your side, i'll be there for you." he answered, shyly rubbing the back of his neck in response.

this made jisung smile even wider, nodding seconds later. "thank you hyung, i'm glad i met you. to be honest, when we first met, i wasn't really feeling like myself but because of you, it lightened up my day."

"oh really? was that why you immediately took an interest in me? even though what i did was just a dare?" changbin questioned, slightly shocked by his answer.

not only did jisung mean more than he'd thought but also the fact that he probably also needed someone. and knowing that it was changbin himself, he couldn't help but question his past actions towards him.

at this point, maybe all jisung needed was love and support. the more he was spending time alone with him, the more he was beginning to learn more about him.

but what he knew for sure, was that jisung was a complete different person that he'd thought. he'd never thought to meet someone who had been so relatable to him before, it was something new.

maybe spending time with him wasn't so bad after all; maybe they were more similar than anyone could ever think. jisung continued to stare at changbin with unknowing eyes, smiling so hard at him.

"yeah... also i'm sorry for taking whatever happened that night seriously. it must've been a moment you wanted to forget." jisung apologised, staring at him with guilt filling his eyes.

"oh no, it's okay. i didn't know it meant this much to you. i mean, i wouldn't say that dare was a mistake or anything bad. in fact, now i think about it, i feel relief after meeting you." changbin replied soon after, smiling sincerely at him.

and to his luck, jisung smiled even more, his eyes beginning to glitter as seconds passed. "i'm relieved i met you too. actually, i haven't said this to many people but... my boyfriend broke up with me a week ago and it's been draining my energy out. ever since then, i haven't been thinking straight and there was also so many things going on, i pretty much felt alone."

as changbin continued to listen to his words, he could feel mixed feelings unsettling inside him. was that the reason why he saw him alone that night? he didn't know why but his heart was suddenly aching for him, he was already going through a lot.

"i'm sorry to hear that, you must've loved him a lot." changbin frowned sadly before embracing the younger into a comforting hug. "you don't deserve him."

"thank you..." jisung mumbled, not hesitating to hug him tightly back. "no one talked to me that night apart from that small talk with seungmin but you were the first to approach and talk to me. i'd never felt so comfortable and relaxed before."

changbin smiled warmly while listening to him, rubbing his back seconds later. "i'm glad you felt that way, i know things can be tough at times but i believe you can get through. i'll be there to help you."

the other smiled in relief, hugging him a bit longer until they eventually pulled away after moment of silence. "also, even though it may be a dare, it still happened to mean a lot to me." jisung continued to smile.

"i know, i guess meeting you wasn't a mistake in the first place." changbin smiled back before turning his head to look around his surroundings.

"of course not. like i said before, us meeting each other is like fate." jisung answered with a widen smile, causing changbin to look over to him.

"when are you gonna stop that? i've told you many times that i'm straight, there's no point in trying to get me to fall for you." he replied as he folded his arms, staring steadily back at him.

this caused jisung to chuckle slightly to which changbin raised his eyebrow in confusion yet awareness. "what?" he questioned, not knowing why he was suddenly chuckling like that.

"and like i've told you many times, i'm not gonna give up until you do. also, there's a chance that this might've already started working." jisung teased, causing changbin to instantly swift his head, entirely let off guard.

"what are you saying-" he was about to finish his sentence when jisung reached over to rub his shoulder in reassurance.

"i'm just joking, relax hyung." jisung replied gently with a small laugh, nothing but intrigue filled his eyes.

changbin slightly softened in response despite the still suspicious comment. there was silence for a moment, the familiar  atmosphere from earlier eating it up.

that was when jisung stood up moments later, stretching his arms before looking back down at the older who was sitting while unknowingly staring at him. "we should get going."

"oh, what time is it?" changbin questioned out of nowhere, hurriedly checking the time when his eyes slightly widen in shock. "shoot, i have to go to my job soon." he suddenly added, eventually standing up as well.

"you should head first then. unfortunately i can't see you tonight because i have something to do but i'll see you later baby." jisung responded with a smirk, changbin rolling his eyes again at the nickname he didn't wanna hear.

"whatever, i'll see you tomorrow." he replied with a small smile, turning around to walk off when he heard an unexpected voice calling for the younger.

"jisung? is that you?"
