13) The Tutor

Authors Note- Hey guys! Okay so naturally when thinking about a young looking teacher I immediately thought of pretty little liars so the character Mr. Solender will be played by Ian Harding

I gather up my books as the bell rings and head towards my 4th period Biology. It has been 5 days since the dance and things were still crazy.

People were still coming up and congratulating Belle on winning homecoming queen, Nicole was still furious with Danny and Belle, well, more than usual, Zack was still scowling whenever Luke was near and Luke was still shooting glares at Zack whenever Nicole was near.

The biggest change though is Danny. Sure, he still cracks jokes like usual but he seems mad a lot more often. He will be fine one moment around me and Belle but whenever Sam comes by he would make up an excuse to leave. Even at the mention of Sam's name, Danny would turn sour.

On my way down the hall I feel someone wrap their arm around me and immedeatly know it is Luke. "What's up Sleeping Beauty" he says happily, still refusing to call me by my real name.

"Well, lets see, I have homework in every class for tonight that will take at least 2 hours, for dinner all I have is leftovers, and to top all of this off I have an arrogant boy annoying me every second he can" I say all in one breath.
"Well your day seems like it sucks" Luke observes and I nod once and wince as I feel a headache coming on. All of the sudden Luke pulls out a pack of mint gum and hands me a piece.

"What's this for?" I ask confused. "Your breath, it stinks" he responds and dodges my swing at him. "No I'm just kidding but mint gum always helps me when I have a headache" he states and I am surprised that he noticed my wince. "Well..um.thanks" I mumble.

"And still part of it is for your breath" he adds and I can't help but smile at how he can't do a good thing for someone without also saying something rude or annoying.

We finally get to Biology and I take my seat next to Brandon. We talk a little about the recent Biology project and soon go silent. Out of nowhere Branon says "You know, you really are changing him".

"Hmm?" I ask looking up from my paper where I am writing the notes from the board onto the paper. "Luke" he answers and continues "I can tell. He is changing for the better. Because of you".

At this I snort at the single thought of Luke being nicer than before. "Please" I say, not believing it for a second. "It's true" Brandon defends. "You see that girl Rebecca right there?" he nods over to a girl and I turn to look at her. She is in the shortest skirt I have ever seen with a v neck that is too low for my taste.

"Yeah? So what" I ask as Brandon looks back at me. "Luke is my best friend. I know for a fact that 2 months ago he would be all over her, flirting with her and trying to look up her skirt. Look at him now". I turn to look at Luke and watch him as he writes down the notes on the board with a slight smile on his face.

"He-he's taking notes?" I ask in disbeleif. Luke never took notes.

Brandon nods and I shake my head "that's not because of me" I say and Brandon says a quiet "sure" and drops the subject.

Soon Biology class is over and I head to history. Mr. Solender's lessons lately were getting even better. I listen to him wholeheartedly as he talks about Rasputin and take plenty of notes. As the bell rings Mr. Solender calls out "can Claire Adams and Luke Evans please see me at my desk?".

Confused, I go up to his desk as Luke joins me. "What's up Solender?" Luke asks casually and Mr. Solender sighs "I'll tell you what's up Mr. Evans, your progress reports and yours aren't very pretty" he states and holds up his progress report.
