-YANDISWA BESS
He kisses my neck and it's a little ticklish making me giggle
“Stop it, the kids are probably back”
I say but my husband doesn’t hear any of that, he sneaks his hand inside my underwear while burying his face in my boobs
“Melo mahn”
I say but he doesn’t hear any of it. When we are done I breathing heavily trying to catch my breath laying on his chest. He kisses my head while playing with my boob
“I love you”
He says and I can't help blushing. Even after 20 years this man telling me he loves me always feels like it's my first time hearing it.
“Can't we stay like this forever?”
I say and he chuckles
“If only it were that simple. We have adults we need to tend to”
He reminds me
“Aaaaahhh”
I groan
“Don’t remind me please. My God I don’t need this. Lets shower and go join them”
I say getting off him, he pulls my hand making me turn to him
“Bess”
He chuckles
“You haven’t told me you love me”
I can't help laugh, I lean over to him and plant a kiss on his lips and he tries to deepen it. I pull away with a giggle
“Ndiyakuthanda Melokuhle”
I say and he blushes looking ever so handsome. I get off the bed and walk to the shower naked while he follows behind me. We take a nice long shower with a lot of making out in between and then get out of the shower and wipe our bodies then apply lotion on our bodies and get dressed then head out of the room and meet Aya in the passage.
“Hello my baby”
I greet her as she walks over to us all smiles, Melo also greets her and we each hug her
“How are you? When did you get here?”
I ask as they break the hug
“I literally just got here but you and dad were too busy making baby number 6”
We all laugh, I shove her playfully
“Shut up! You should come and join us we need to catch up and have a lengthy conversation”
I say and she frowns
“Oh?”
Dad nods
“Meet you downstairs in a few kiddo”
I say and we part ways, I turn my head and she her walking to Mercy’s room
“How are we going to do this?”
He says and I shrug as we make our way down the stairs
“We have no choice but to do what is right for everyone”
I say and he nods. We get to the stairs and walk to the lounge and find the kids laughing and catching up. We greet all of them and then sit down on the couch alone, I just watch them chatting and admire the bond they share as siblings. Growing up as the only child to my mother I was forced to build a relationship with my cousins so I had to give my children siblings that they would befriend and I am happy that my kids all get along.
“When will you be taking your leave Clark?”
I ask her and she shrugs
“When I’m 8 months mah. I can't be sitting and doing nothing all day”
She explains, I shake my head
“Maybe sit down when you 7 months? You can't be pregnant and still working cases now”
She smiles looking down shyly, Aya and Mercy join us and I don’t miss the look she and Yanga share as Mercy walks in. She comes to greet each of us and hugging us and then goes to sit down beside Aya
“Mom will be moving in with Clark and I”
Kyles starts off, I look at Melo who nods
“That’s nice of her”
I say and he nods
“It will be nice to have someone help me out with everything”
Clark says and I smile
“That really is nice honestly. I’m glad you guys worked things out”
Melo says and he nods
“I was thinking of coming to work this side”
Yanga says, I frown
“Why? I thought you wanted to be based that side?”
I say taken aback by this decision
“I need to collect my life and what better place than home?”
He responds, I look at Mercy who doesn’t react or whatsoever
“Yanga you can't just decide to up and leave everytime you feel like it. What happens with your flat that side?”
Melo asks and he shrugs
“Sell it or rent it out. I don’t know dad, I haven’t thought everything through just yet but as soon as I get my results I’m moving back home and then find a place of my own place”
I chuckle
“And you didn’t think to inform us the people you planning to move back in with maybe?”
I ask him with a raised eyebrow
“I didn’t think you guys would mind”
Melo chuckles brushing my hand
“We don’t mind but when one makes such decisions they usually speak to their parents before hand and tell them what they are planning on doing before hand instead of just dropping such a bomb on them like this”
Melo explains
“And I’m assuming you’ll be working at the lawfirm too?”
He asks and Yanga nods, I can't help but laugh
“Nepotism at it's best. Yanga I love you and the reason you even study law was for this but honey you go to one of the best schools and you tutor there, you cannot just up and decide that you going to drop out and move to here without consulting any of us. What's your plan? Aren’t you furthering you studies? Like I am so confused by all of this”
He shrugs his shoulders
“I’ll figure it out mom”
He says and I’m about to respond when Melo places his hand over mine
“Aya your mother and I spoke and we reached a decision that if you really want to marry this Roland guy then we’ll support you. He makes you happy and we cannot shy away from that so we were thinking that you invite him over for supper this Sunday so that we can get to know him and take it from there”
Aya jumps on Melo and I and hugs
“Thank you guys so much”
She says and I nod
“Mom and dad thank you”
She says breaking the hug
“He will definitely come through. You know he was even willing to pay lobola for me”
We all laugh
“he can still pay lobola if he wants, I mean you have me and your brothers all for it”
We all laugh
“Mercy anything new with you?”
I ask and she shrugs
“My bio dad called”
