16: The painful past

5 years ago, London

Aditya's pov

" After I finished my MBA , I took in charge of Singhania company. With my hard work , I made our company in the list of top 5 companies in the world. With that my popularity also increased. Many companies started to invest in our company and also girls started following me with their seductive looks .But I didn't fall for it . I wished to have someone to love me truely.

Then one December night I met my love Samaira. She was a medical student and an orphan too. She was really bold and beautiful . And that is the one which I liked most in her. Normally girls will fall for my looks but this girl didn't give a damn to that. Then I started stalking her . She was really pissed due to my behaviour . But I really enjoyed it.

Slowly slowly I started to fall for her. One day I requested her for a coffee date. At first she refused . Later with my tantrums she agreed. Then we started spending time with each other which made me really happy. Her childish talks , innocence , simplicity made me to fall for her deeply.

On valentines day we both confessed and we decided to take our relation to next level because I know that she is the one for me and I also decided that I will introduce her to my family soon. Then I got an important business offer and it was from Australia and I should be there. We both were sad because we can't stay away from each other for a second . After promising her that I will come back within a week I went to Australia with heavy heart.

After a week I came back to London. I was really happy that I won the deal and I decided to enjoy with my Samaira. I called her to inform about my return . But she didn't answered. Two days she was missing and I gone mad due to this. I filed complaint to the police. Next day I got a call from police that a girl was found in a building in a worst condition . I ran to the spot and I saw my Samaira lying in a brutal condition. She was naked inside the sheets . I was broken seeing that. We took to her to the hospital and I came to know that she was brutally raped continuously for 5 days . Her internal organs were damaged. And she was having 5 % chances of survival. "

Third person's pov

" Karthik you now sh..she di..ed infont of me . If I didn..t go ....." and he bursted into tears . Karthik hugged him tightly. He was also having tears. Because his best friend was living all these days with a huge pain in his heart.

" Adi..i stop crying please ". Karthik rubbed his back . Aditya rubbed his tears and looked down.

" Adi I don't know you were suffering in all these years. I am sorry for saying all those things". Karthik says with tears.

" No Karthik its ok." Aditya said

" Um Adi did you find out the culprits ". Karthik asked

" No Karthi . It was well planned one and I am living with that guilt that I couldn't able to give justice to Samaira". Aditya's fists tightened.

" Don't worry we will find out . And due to this you were beating the punching bag". Hearing this Aditya looked down

" No I..I".

" You"

" I tried to kiss Kritika". Aditya closed his eyes

" You what". Karthik was stunned ( Oh that's why Kritika was acting weird)

" Did you kissed her". Karthik hesitantly asked

" Hell no". Aditya looked him in horror

" Then what is the problem"

" I felt like I had cheated on my Samaira. That's why I took all that anger on you. But thank god nothing had happened" Aditya rubbed his face.

Karthik's phone started ringing . It was Shwetha. Aditya raised his eye brows . Karthik showed his phone.

" Yes Aunty". Karthik answered the call

" Beta is Aditya with you". Shwetha asked

" Yes Aunty".

" Ok tell him to come home soon"

" Ok Aunty". He hang up the call

" What happened". Aditya asked

" Aunty said you should be at home soon. I think she want to say something important". Aditya nodded . Both stood up to go

" Karthik please don't say about my past to anyone". Aditya said

" Aditya I won't you can trust me". Karthik assured him . Both went towards their car

" Karthik should I drop you". Aditya asked because Karthik was drunk

" Hello mister , I am sober ok . Don't worry I can drive". Karthik smirked. Aditya chuckled and started his car to home.

Aditya parked his car and went into the mansion. Their Swetha Singhania was anxiously waiting for him. Aditya confused seeing hi Mom's tensed face.

What happened mom". Aditya asked sitting beside Swetha.

" Adi I wanted to discuss an important matter with you" Swetha replied.

" Yes mom"

Adi today today my best friend Latha called me . She has a daughter who is an architect...

" Ma stop stop. I know where this is going . I am sorry . I am not interested" Aditya said being irritated

" Adi you are 27 now it's time for you to get married" Swetha said in her tight voice.

" No Ma I am not interested in marriage now . I am only 27".

" But why Adi even Abhi got married at your age then why can't you" Swetha asked being helpless

" I don't want to get married that's it" Aditya announced controlling his anger

" But Adi.."

Aditya becomes angry and shout:" Stop it Ma ". "I told you I will not marry anyone". "Now please don't raise this topic" .He angrily goes from there

Swetha shocks to see his behaviour . She was having tears in her eyes. Because he never behaved like this to her. This was all seen by Priya who was going to Kitchen .She rushes to Swetha and consoles her

" Ma stop crying please" Prerna rubbed her shoulders

"Priya beta did you see how he" and Swetha bursts into tears . Priya hugs her tightly.

"I have seen that Ma. You don't worry I will take care of it". Priya assured her

"I should talk to Abhimanyu about this".Priya thinks and looks down at Swetha who was crying.
