18: Hope

Priya was waiting for Abhimanyu to tell about Aditya's matter. After sometime Abhimanyu came to the room exhausted and saw his wife lost in something . He frowned and sat beside her.

"Priya are you ok" Abhimanyu asked

" Abhi I wanted to tell an important matter to you".

" What is it Priya"

" It's about Aditya". Abhi frowned and looked at her.

" What about him". Abhi asked . Then Priya explained the conversation between Aditya and Swetha .

" I don't know Abhi why he is behaving like this when we raised the topic of marriage or tell him about a girl." Priya said

" Don't worry Priya I will talk to him". Abhi said . Both went to sleep

Kritika's pov

I was standing infront Singhania mansion with my luggage as I was going to live here till Daadi gets cured. Thinking about yesterday's awkward moment made me nervous . But this is my job and also I promised Prakash sir and this family . I will never broke that.

Sighing I picked the luggage and went to the entrance . I rang the bell and within 5 seconds Ahana opened the door . She grinned and hugged me

" Kritika I was waiting for you . Come". She pulled me to the house . Swetha aunty and Prerna di came from kitchen

" Kritika come and sit here". Aunty said . I nodded and sat on the couch keeping my luggage aside

" So Kritika do you want anything to drink". Priya di asked.

" Ya just a glass of water". She nodded and went to kitchen

Thank god that Khadoos is not here

Just then di bought the drink . I thanked her and started drinking

" Good morning mom". I looked up and saw that Khadoos coming in his office attire. I chocked my drink and started coughing

" Oh my god Kriti are you ok". Ahana asked coming beside . I didn't said anything due to the cough . Swetha aunty patted my head and I stopped coughing . That Khadoos was watching all these . I looked at him and he smirked at me . I turned away

Oh god he caught me

" Ma I am going to office . See you" He said . But I didn't looked at him

" Hello Ms.doctor". He snapped his fingers at me and I looked up

" Do your duty well ok". He ordered me

I stood up and glared at him" I know what to do . You don't have to teach me". I said and without saying anything he went away.

" Ahana I am going to daadi's room". She nodded . I took my bag and went to her room.

I was busy reading my favourite novel when I heard a groaning sound . I looked and saw Daadi who was moving slightly . I closed my book and stood up before keeping my book on the table.. She woke up and looked around . Then her eyes falls on and she shrieked away

" Go..go away". I hold her hand and calm her down

" Daadi relax . I am Abhi bhai's friend . I came yesterday too". She didn't react

" Ok daadi do you want to go outside from this room ". She smiled a little and nodded

" We will go , but first you have to listen to me ok". She nodded

" Close your eyes and count from 1 to 10 then 10 t0 1". I said and she started doing . I sighed in relief

We done some therapies and she slept due to the medicine.

I locked the door and went down to look my trolley bag

" Where is my bag". I was looking around when I bumped into something hard

Where the hell does this come from . I rubbed my forehead and looked up to see the Khadoos glaring down at me . I gasped and turned to run away . But he holds my arm and pulled towards him . I stumbles a little and looked at him with fear .

" What are you doing here". He asked in his cold voice

" No..nothing". I stuttered and looked around

Thank god no one is here.

" Nothing. Then why were you here". He asked leaving my arm . I rubbed it feeling pain.

" I was searching for my trolley bag". I said and he raised his eyebrow

" Trolley bag . Why". He asked Is he mental

" Because I am staying here . So I need clothes to change". I said shrugging

" You can't stay here". He said hovering over me

" I will . What will you do". I asked in a challenging tone . He looked at me intently and his eyes fall on my lips making me gulp ( Oh no is he going to) .

A voice interrupted us and he stood away from me . I turned and saw Priya di standing with a teasing smile

" What were you guys doing here" She asked both of u

" Uh.. babhi I came here to take an important file excuse me". He ran away leaving me and di alone

Traitor

" Kritika". She called

" Di I was busy looking for my bag , when that Khad... I mean he came" . I explained

" Oh your bag is with Ahana . She took to her room". She said

" Ok I am going di . Bye".




I ran upstairs sighing in relief . Now where is her room

I was looking for Ahana's room when that khadoos again made an entry carrying a file . Giving a look , he walked past me.

"Stop". I said and he halted

" What". He barked ( Can't he speak normally)

" Um can you please guide me to Ahana's room" I asked fiddling with my duppatta.

" Straight, turn left and the first one". saying this he went away

He is really a rare species


Third person's pov

Priya talked to Swetha about Aditya and Kritika's closeness

" Priya are you saying the truth". Swetha asked

" Yes ma . I seen it and Adi was looking her with some emotions" Priya replied.

" Kritika is a nice girl and I liked her ". Swetha said.

" Yes ma . She will be best for our Adi and she will completely change him" Priya said excitedly

"Priya I hope it will happen one day . I miss my old Adi a lot". Swetha said with slight tears
