22: Two weddings

Singhania Mansion

The Rai family was sitting in the guest house of Singhania mansion discussing the marriage matter. Kritika was silently hearing her parents opinion

" Papa please try to understand .I can't marry him . We will not be happy after this". Kritika tried to explain

" Beta it will be difficult for first but trust me after sometime you both will slowly fall for each other". Ishita said

Me and Khadoos in love . Huh no way Kritika thought

" And Kritika we want only your happiness . Aditya is a nice guy . He is respectful person in the society and also a good business man ". Raman said

" Yes and becoming Singhania's daughter in law is not a small thing and this family loves you a lot Kriti". Ishita said . Kritika looked at her brother and babhi who was silent till now

" Bhai babhi what about you guys . Don't you want to say anything ". Kritika asked

" Kriti I think Mom and Dad is correct . Just give a chance to this". Arjun said

" Yes Kriti I think this proposal is good for you". Shivanya said

I am sure that my family won't accept my decision but what if Mr. Singhania say no to this proposal . Since he hates me , I am 100% sure that he will never accept this . So let's play innocent infront them Kritika smirked evilly

" Ok I am ready for you guys". Kritika innocently said . The Rai's became happy

While on the other side , the Singhania's were making Aditya to accept the proposal

" Adi beta for your ma please say yes beta . Kritika is a perfect for you". Swetha said . Aditya closed his eyes thinking about Samaira . If she was alive , he will be a happy married man now . A tear drop fell from his eyes thinking about his past . His family didn't saw , as he was back facing them.

" Adi your daadi always wish for your happiness . I am sure that Kritika is the one for that . That's why I brought this proposal forward". Maheshwati said

Aditya turned to them " I want some time . Excuse me". Saying this he went outside

Abhimanyu also went behind him. He finally reached backyard and heard a crying sound . Walking some more he saw Aditya shaking badly . He ran and hugged him tightly

" Aditya why are you crying ". Abhimanyu asked making him sit on the bench

" Bhai I can't . It hurts bhai". Aditya said sobbing

" Aditya I know you are hiding something big from us . If you consider me as your brother please share your pain". Abhimanyu said

" I will say bhai". Aditya started telling about his dreadful past . Abhimanyu becomes shocked . Tears formed in his eyes thinking about his brother's pain

" Now tell me bhai how can I marry Kritika when my hear still beats for Samaira . If I marry her it will be like I had cheated Samaira". Abhimanyu understood his words but as a brother he wanted only Aditya's happiness . He had seen changes in Adi in the presence of Kritika and he thinks that Kritika can change him

" Adi I don't what to say but believe one thing god has destined someone in your life . And that must be Kritika not Samaira. " Abhimanyu explained . Aditya stood in rage hearing his words

" Bhai stop talking like this " Aditya gritted in anger

" Ok I will and now what is your decision . All are waiting for you". Abhimanyu asked him . All the memories of his and Samaira flashed in his mind Then he thought about his mom and daadi their teary eyes . He decided not to be selfish for them . With heavy heart he walked inside the mansion

Oh god I will do anything if that Khadoos say no . Please god . Please make him say no Kritika was continuously praying in her mind . She was sitting in the living room along with her family and Singhania's . They were patiently waiting for Aditya.

" Ma he came". Prerna announced and all looked at him except Kritika . She clutched her duppata tightly.

" Adi what did you decide". Maheshwati asked . Aditya looked at his families whose eyes were filled with hope .

" Yes daadi . I am ready". Aditya said with no emotions . Kritika became shocked and looked at him bewildered. All hooted in happiness

" Kritika beta finally you will be my bahu". Swetha hugged Kritika in which she gave a fake smile

Why god . Why me . My dream of getting a prince charming finally came to an end

Kritika was crying mentally . Feeling someone's constant gaze , she lifted her eye lashes and saw Aditya looking her with hatred . She became scared and looked down . Her eyes were tearing up thinking about her future .

" Gautam ji what's all this smiles and all huh". Raj Mehra asked entering the mansion along with Sakshi Mehra and Karthik.

" Raj finally my Aditya is getting married". Gautam said with a smile . Karthik stunned and looked at Aditya who was standing sternly . He decides to talk him later

" What a coincidence . We also came here for welcoming you all for another wedding". Raj said

" Whose wedding Raj ji". Swetha asked

" Karthik's". Sakshi Mehra said . Aditya and Kritika looked at Karthik who was blushing . They were thinking about Aradhya

" Who is the girl Sakshi". Swetha asked

" Karthik go and bring her". Raj said . Karthik went outside . After few seconds Karthik enters the mansion holding a girl's hand . The Rai's became shocked along with Ahana . Kritika beamed in happiness

" Aradhya " Raman asked in disbelief

" Yes uncle . I know you consider Aradhya as your daughter itself . And I promise you that I will love her and take care of her till my last breath . So will you give your daughter's hand for me ". Karthik asked with sincere eyes . Aradhya and Kritika was having tears of happiness . Raman nodded . Karthik smiled . Ishita hugged her

" Finally we are having double weddings in this month". Raj said

" Yes and by the way who is Aditya's bride". Sakshi asked . Kritika looked down and Aditya clenched his jaw

" Sakshi she is my daughter in law and my Aditya's bride , Kritika". Swetha said side hugging her . Aradhya and Karthik became shocked

" Swetha your selection is good . She will be perfect for our Adi". Sakshi said and patted her cheeks . Kritika gave a small smile

" Gautam , Raman ji why can't we conduct their weddings on the same day . Even both the brides and grooms are friends right". Raj said . All smiled at his opinion

" That's a good idea and it will be memorable moment for our children too". Ishita said

" Gautam call our family priest as soon as possible so that we can look for dates ". Maheshwati announced .

All were happy except the two souls who were crying inside and faking smiles.
