43:Depressed soul

Days passed away . Kritika's condition was becoming worse .She felt lonely as everyone was ignoring her . Only Priya talked to her whenever they see , but in the next second Abhimanyu will scold and take her way . Then Kritika didn't took any initiative to talk to Priya as she didn't want the reason for the couple fight also Priya is pregnant.

She used to wait to talk to Aditya , spend time with him. But nothing sort of happened as he always spend time with others or Mithali . At night he will wish her a good night and sleep.

His closeness with Mithali always scared her and one incident made her feelings more worse. One day , after completing all the kitchen chores , Kritika headed towards their room . She opened the door only to see , Aditya and Mithali together on the bed with Mithali on top of him which made her heartbroken .

She screamed at them with tears flowing through the eyes but Aditya explained the situation that he tried to help her and in that time both fell together . She accepted it half heartedly , thinking that Aditya loves her and won't leave her.

But her state became more worse when she lose her job-;

(Flash back)

Kritika was in her cabin reading a patients file , when the door knocked .

" Mam Prakash sir is calling you". A nurse informed her .

"Ok you can go".

Wearing her coat , she walked towards Prakash's cabin. She knocked his door to get his permission.

"Um Kritika take a seat". Prakash said . She nodded and took a sea in front of him.

" Kritika I needed to tell you an important matter". Kritika frowned seeing his nervousness.

" Ok sir you can tell me but why are you nervous". Kritika asked but in return he forwarded an envelope to her .

" What is this sir". She asked.

" Open it and read". Prakash said . Kritika teared the envelope , taking the letter and opened to get the biggest shock in her life.

"Resignation letter?" Kritika whispered while shivering.

"Si-sir why this? . Sir did I committed any mistake . No right . Then why this". Kritika asked with tears.

" Kritika I can understand your emotions but I can't do anything . It's the decision of the committee . I tried to reject their decision but couldn't". Prakash said .

Kritika palmed her mouth, crying loudly.

" Si-sir...I....this is my dream job sir . I...I can't lose it . Please try to understand". Kritika said hiccupping.

" Kritika I am sorry . I can't help you and you need to resign today itself". Prakash said .

Kritika wiped her tears and signed the letter with heart wrenching pain . Standing up , she placed the letter on the table and left like a lifeless soul .

She cried in her cabin clutching her white coat against her chest . The nurses and some doctor felt bad for her . Prakash blessed her before she left the hospital.

She reached the mansion only to see the Singhania's except Aditya talking and laughing . Everyone ignored her completely except Priya who gave a little smile . She walked slowly to her room and broke down completely . She decided to share her pain with Aditya .

Kritika rushed towards him and hugged as he entered .

" Adi I lost my job". Kritika cried in his embrace .

" How". Aditya questioned breaking the hug.

" I-I don't know .The committee decided ". Kritika cried.

" Oh then it will be because of you". Aditya said . Kritika stunned.

" Because of me ! . How?"

" You must have did some mistake ". Aditya said shrugging . Kritika looked at him shocked . The man who should stand beside her , support her is accusing her for something which she had never committed .

" I am going downstairs". saying this he went away . Kritika broke down completely .

Kritika called her parents to say about the job loss . But no one took the phone . She thought to tell to Aradhya but later she rejected the idea as she didn't want to disturb their honeymoon time.

Few days later Kritika started feeling unwell . She started throwing up , feeling nausea like that . She gasped realising that she missed her period .

In the next day itself , she brought a pregnancy test kit . On the way she visited a temple and prayed to god for good news . She reached home and hurriedly went to washroom

Within 2 minutes she got the result . Kritika cried in happiness and caressed her belly .

" I..I am pregnant . Oh my god". Kritika squealed.

" Baby. Our baby . I am carrying the symbol of mine and Aditya's love". She mumbled with huge smile .

" Aditya will be more happy hearing this news".

She opened the door and steeped outside with the kit at the same time Aditya entered the room with cold expression.

" Adi I am ..."
