23: Postnuptial agreement

Kritika was sitting on her swing lost in thoughts when her phone started ringing . She frowned as she saw an unknown number . Sighing she picked the call

" Hello". Kritika said

"Aditya here". Kritika looked her phone in wide eyes

" Hello are you hearing me". Aditya asked in frustrated voice

" Ye..yes ". She stammered

" Today at 2 pm I wanted to see you . Come to my office . I wanted to discuss an important matter". Aditya said in a serious tone

" Haan ok". Kritika said and the next second the call was cut.

Kritika was standing in front of Singhania company . She looked the building with wide open mouth . Coming to her senses she entered the building nervously . She walked to the receptionist who was busy in doing some work.

Kritika cleared her throat . The receptionist looked her from head to toe and raised an eyebrow

" Um I came to see Mr. Aditya Singhania". Kritika said

" Do you have appointment". The receptionist asked

" No"

" I am sorry . You can't go without an appointment"

" But he only asked me to come . If you have any doubt you can contact him" . Kritika said . The receptionist nodded and started to call Aditya

" Your name"

" Kritika Rai"

" Sir one miss Kritika Rai came to see you" . Ok sir . I will do it". The receptionist keep the phone down

" You can go . His cabin is on 25th floor". Kritika nodded and went to the lift

She entered as soon as the lift door opened and pressed the floor number . She was tapping her foot impatiently and glaring at the wall . The ping sound erupted and she stepped out from the lift

Aditya's P.A guided her to his cabin and asked her to wait

She glanced around with wide eyes . His cabin was just like him ; dark , cold atmosphere was vibrating - she thought .

" If you finished checking out everything, you can sit". Kritika startled and turned around only to face Aditya. He opened his blazer and went towards his table . Sitting on his chair , he gestured Kritika to take the seat.

"So why did you called me here" Kritika asked . Aditya opened his drawer and took out a file . He forwarded it to Kritika and asked her to read

Kritika opened the file and shocked to see the content name

" Postnuptial agreement ? . What do you mean by this" She asked him confused

" As you know this marriage is only for my parents . So these are some rules and regulations you should follow after marriage ". Aditya said

Kritika looked him with wide eyes. She stood up and looked him with rage

" Mr . Singhania get one thing straight in your head , I am not your freaking puppet to obey these rules and all . So spare me . I am leaving". saying this she get up and started to leave

" Ms . Rai if you keep a step further you will regret ". Aditya said . Kritika turned and looked at him with frown

" What will I regret Mr. Singhania". Kritika asked seriously . Aditya smirked and went towards her

" Well your father's company". Aditya said

" And may I know what is the relation between our company and this marriage". Kritika questioned

" Huh so Ms. Rai didn't know the truth isn't it . But don't worry I will tell you . So actually a business proposal was forwarded by my dad to your brother and father that we will support in their business and that's the reason why you were forced for this". Aditya said . Kritika was shocked hearing his words . She never expected something like this from her family

That means they were using me . No this can't be possible . Kritika thought and looked at Aditya

" I know you are lying and I won't trust you" Kritika said

" Why should I lie to you and if you have any doubt I will prove it now. Wait". Aditya said and took a file from shelf

" This is the contract signed by your brother Arjun . Here have a look" Kritika took the file and started reading the contents .

Kritika's eyes filled with tears thinking about their betrayal . Aditya saw this but didn't said anything. She returned the file and wiped her tears

" Mr. Singhania give me the agreement papers". Kritika said with no emotions . He nodded and give the papers

She was going to sign when Aditya interrupted

" First read everything , then sign". Aditya said sternly . Kritika glared at him and started reading

" Never interfere in my personal matters". Kritika gave him a look

" So I think you understood the first rule ". Aditya said

" Well same is applicable to you too . I will have my way , you will have yours". Kritika said

" Second rule : Don't expect anything from me especially love". Kritika laughed reading this

" Huh as if I am dying for your love". Kritika said rolling her eyes. Aditya fisted her hands

" Neither I am interested in loving you . Read next". Aditya said

"Third rule : Never raise your voice against me"

" Mr. Singhania I am not accepting this rule because I will do if you are doing something wrong". Kritika said

" Ms . Rai that we will see later . Now read next". Aditya mocked

" Fourth rule : Don't touch my things

" And the same goes to you Mr ." Kritika said

" Fifth rule : We need to act like a romantic couple in front of our family but inside the room we will be strangers"

Kritika looked him with wide eyes . Aditya smirked at her

" What the hell is this Mr. Singhania . I won't accept this rule" Kritika yelled

" Lowe your voice Ms. Rai . You can't back out from the rule ". Aditya said gently

" Mr. Singhania I am warning you dare to touch me , I will chop your hands". Kritika threatened

" Oh I am scared . Ms . Rai I am not interested in touching a girl like you . Heck even I don't like to look at you". Aditya spated

"What you mean by a girl like me . Do I have horns on my head. Ahh now I got it , I know I am special not like other girls". Kritika said proudly

" Special my foot . Now stop talking , sign this and get out from my office". Saying this he went and sat on his chair

Jerk , rude , asshole . Kritika cursed him under her breath

" Here is your papers . Go and eat them ". Kritika spated and went out leaving an angry Aditya.
