24: Their fate is decided

Kritika rushed inside her house angrily . Her mind was flooded with contract signed by her dear brother

" Ma , Pa , bhai come down". Kritika shouted throwing her sling bag to the couch

Raman , Ishita , Arjun , Shanaya and Aradhya came down . Kritika looked them with blood shot eyes

" How could you bhai . How could you do this to me". Kritika asked with tears . Arjun was looking her bewildered

" Kriti what are you saying . I don't understand anything". Arjun said

" Wah ! . What an acting bhai . So you don't know anything about the contract between you and Mr. Singhania isn't it". Kritika asked . Arjun became pale by hearing this.

" Why are you silent huh . Don't you want to say anything". Kritika shouted

" Kriti remember you are speaking to your brother ". Ishita said sternly

" Yes he is my brother and brothers won't betray their sisters . But he did it ma". Kritika said in vulnerable tone

" Not only he , papa also betrayed me . He also know about the contract . Please tell me why you guys did this". Kritika asked and started crying . Aradhya hugged her tightly

" Raman Arjun what contract is she talking about". Ishita asked

" Ishita , Mr . Gautam forwarded a proposal for us which is useful for our company . For that they want Kritika as their daughter in law . So we accepted it". Raman said . Ishita became shocked

Kritika angrily went to her room and locked the door . All others went behind her

" Kriti open the door". Arjun shouted and banged the door

" Kriti please . I know I had done wrong but please listen to your bhai once ". Arjun said and still continued banging

" Kriti beta open the door". Ishita shouted

Finally she opened the door . All became shocked to see her state . Arjun excused himself and entered her room

He was about to hug her when she shouted " Don't dae to touch me bhai . I never expected this from you"

"Kritika I know you are angry but please listen to me . Please for once". Arjun begged . Kritika nodded and sat on the bed

" Kritika our company was on the state of downfall .We were in the urge of bankrupt . We lost contracts of many companies .The workers started leaving . And in this situation Gautam sir helped us . He decided to be partnership with our company . You know to be a part of Singhania company is really luck . First I rejected when he asked your hand for Aditya for the contract . But thinking about our family , I agreed . I never wanted my family in the streets . Now tell me Kriti am I wrong . I know I should have asked you , but I couldn't because I don't want to see your tears . If you want , you can forgive me". Arjun said with slight tears . Kritika was dumbfounded . She never thought that her brother was suffering a lot

She wiped her tears and hugged him tightly . Arjun hugged her back

" I am sorry bhai . Sorry for shouting at you. I..I never thought that you will be carrying a huge burden and now I am not angry for what you did". Kritika said

" Thank you Kriti . I thought you will hate me". Arjun said with tears.

" No bhai . I can't never hate you even I am angry with you". Kritika said

Their conversation was disturbed by knock of the door . Arjun wiped his tears and opened the door . Ishita was standing with a worried look

" What happened mom". Arjun asked

" Um tell Kritika to come down . The Singhania's and the Mehra's are here". Ishita said leaving Kritika and Arjun shocked .

" What are they doing here Ma". Kritika asked

" I don't know beta . Please wash your face and come down". Ishita said and went away

" Are you ok Kriti". Arjun asked

" I am ok bye . You go down . I will join a bit". Kritika said . Arjun nodded and went out

After sometime Kritika came down wearing a simple Kurti . She stood beside Aradhya who looked at her worriedly.

Aditya looked at her pale face and understood that she cried . Swetha Singhania excitedly hugged her

" How are you beta".

" I am fine aunty". Kritika said giving her a fake smile

" Now stop calling me aunty ok . Within few days you will be my daughter in law . So call me ma". Shwetha said . Kritika went stunned hearing her words

" What do you mean by few days Shwetha ji". Ishita asked

" Oh I forgot actually the date for the marriage is decided . Yesterday I called pandit ji and he suggested an auspicious date in this month and it is on 25th September". Shwetha said excitedly

The Rai family went shocked

" But how can we do all the preparation in a short period". Raman asked

" Raman don't worry we will also help you and the venue is in Udaipur". Gautam said . Raman nodded

Kritika who was hearing all these became uncomfortable . She excused herself and went to her bedroom

She busted into tears as soon as she entered . A loud sound made her to turn and was shocked to see Aditya . She wiped her tears hastily

" Were you crying". Aditya asked

" No and what are you doing here". Kritika asked

" Look you are making this more worse . Don't act like this in front of my family". Aditya said sarcastically

" What . Do you mean by acting . You don't know what I am feeling right know ". Kritika said angrily and took a deep breath calming her nerves " Please go out . I don't want others to know our shouting".

Aditya just looked her and went out . Kritika collapsed on the bed thinking of her future
