I can literally feel the blood pumping through my head as I pull Jenny through the hallways of the venue. All I want to do right now is get back on this fucking bus and leave South Carolina as quickly as possible. I feel as if I could pass out any minute between how hot the temperature is and what just happened with Ruel. Apparently screaming at someone for even a short period of time comes with side effects!

When we reach the bus I can see that Jenny is pissed. She slams the door shut and yanks a chair out, motioning me to sit down. I already know she's gonna yell at me, but nothing she says could phase me, I already had someone holler at me not too long ago.

"Madeline, what the hell just happened in there?" Jenny is pacing up and down the small isle of the bus shaking her head.

I drop my head into my arms and lay them on the table. "I made a fool of myself didn't I?"

Jenny lets out a sarcastic laugh. "You were screaming at Ruel, Madeline! I mean literally fucking screaming! Kate and I could hear you and we were six doors down!"

"Sorry, but it wasn't just me who was screaming. Ruel was too!"

"MADELINE! I don't care about Ruel in this moment...I care about you! I'm your manager for gods sake. Not Ruel's manager, your manager!" Jenny slams her hands down on the table.

"Okay I'm sorry! What else do you want me to do!" I yell, looking back up at my manager. I can feel my eyes filling with water and I can already tell this isn't going to get better.

Jenny takes a seat next to me and puts her hand on my shoulder. "Madeline, just tell me what happened and we can resolve it, together. I bet Amy can even help with whatever's going on too. I mean after all, she is your best friend."

I wipe the tears from my eyes and take a deep breathe in. Just when I thought this whole Olivia situation was done, here I am bringing it back up again.

"Basically, Ruel has a girlfriend, that I obviously didn't know about and when I brought it up he started acting all suspicous and tried telling me that it wasn't true, even though I saw screenshots that they were true!" I catch my breath and continue. "I know the photos are true because the girls that threatened to leak the video, Nora and Camilla, are friends with his girlfriend Olivia, and just did all of that to get my attention and warn me."

Jenny's mouth drops open when I finally finish my story. "What the hell."

"Yeah and in the messages he was telling her how he can't wait to see her again and Olivia called him babe. Babe! And that's not even the worst part. They said I love you to each other! Poor Olivia! I hope she knows that Ruel is cheating on her!"

"So, I guess you really are done with Ruel then huh?"

I smile. "Yes, I am."

Jenny pulls me in for a hug and sighs. "Oh I'm so sorry for being rude to you last night about not wanting to come today, clearly you had a good reason. We never have to speak about Ruel ever again if that's what you want...I promise."

"I don't know what I want yet, but thank you Jenny. You're always here when I need you the most and you never fail to give me good advice."

"That's what I'm here for! You don't call me your momager for nothing!"

And just like that, we were out of South Carolina. I can start fresh and forget about everything that happened. I will start fresh.
