Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the long ass wait between chapters. Another chapter will be out in a few hours I'm just fixing up a few things in the upcoming chapters. I've written a few so hopefully I will actually be able to get them out at a reasonable time.

I hope you're all enjoying the story despite the late chapters and I completely understand that it's frustrating, and I really am very sorry that they are coming out later.

Hope you enjoy these two chapters today. Don't forget to vote and comment.

Love you all xxx

James and I trailed behind Lucy just far enough to have a conversation of our own but close enough that we wouldn't lose sight of her. It was amazing to see the smile that covered Lucy's face as she'd see an exciting animal and run over to us pointing.

The sun shone down on our backs and it was so comforting to have some warmth during such a miserable week. I fidgeted with the zipper of my thin jacket as Kingston made casual conversation.

"And when we were at one of the hotels in California a few days before we were supposed to be travelling to Colorado, we bumped into MGK and he took us clubbing-" Kingston was cut off by the sound of music coming from my pocket.

I huffed and pulled out my phone to see Isaac was calling me. I let it ring out to subtly hint to him that I was busy... as he already knew.

"You're phone's been blowing up, hey," Kingston smiled, though his brow creased.

"Yeah, it's just my boyfriend," I muttered in frustration and slid my phone back into my back pocket.

"You can take his call if you want,"

I looked up from my shoes and shook my head. I didn't want my day to be spoiled by Isaac complaining or having a go at me. I was on a casual walk with Kingston and his daughter at the conservatory and nothing could take that away from me.

"No, it's okay, he's just... clingy," I said through gritted teeth and continued to follow Lucy as she pointed and ran over to another exhibition.

There was a pause between us that wasn't awkward but it sure wasn't comfortable. From the corner of my eye I could see Kingston frowning, like he wanted to say something but wasn't sure how.

"Tell me about you," he said moment later.

"What do you want to know?"

"Anything, what was your favourite subject in high school? Did you have any pets growing up? Where did you go on holidays as a kid?" He listed a few options and I chuckled softly.

"Well, I loved history and English; that's why they're my majors. I didn't really hate anything to be honest, I was always really happy to be at school," a memory tugged at the corner of my mind of what school was like once everyone found out about my dad, "at least, for the most part. I had a cat, Clarence, who was a bit of an arsehole but sweet when he wanted to be... I'm not a huge fan of cats now though, I would one hundred percent prefer a dog - but not a chihuahua, those things are satanic,"

Kingston laughed loudly whilst nodding his head forcefully.

"I hate chihuahuas," he chuckled, his bright smile reading his eyes and making them wrinkle at the sides.

"Right!? They're so small, and so yappity... I just can't stand them,"

"And your holidays?"

"Well, we used to go to my grandmas cabin when I was a kid but we stopped going there-" my phone rang again and I sighed loudly, pulling it out and hanging up this time.
