11 - Glad To Know How You Feel About Me.

Jungkook was so fucking pissed off. It has been 4 days after the disciplinary committee hearing and nothing has been going right ever since.

For one, he's still waiting for the crown prince to decide what's his punishment going to be. The wait is actually making him more anxious and angry. He just want to be done with it. And after four days of nervous waiting, Jungkook doesn't fucking care even if the prince decided to chop his head off, he would say 'please get on with it'.

Two, Hoseok was not talking to him, like at all. He's not even looking at Jungkook properly. Hoseok has been his mentor and closest to him in the unit and he dearly misses the chats that they normally have. He can understand why Hoseok is angry with him but it feels like the prince took away the elder from him. And so it adds another reason to hate the prince.

Three, he's so bored working at the armoury. Jungkook hasn't properly being outside for the past 4 days and although he knows it a very small punishment for what he did, he can't help but feel trapped and annoyed.

So Jungkook was so fucking pissed off. After that first time, he didn't attempt to meet the crown prince again. Hoseok made sure to tell him that he's not allowed anywhere near the prince at all.

After the 4th day, Jungkook just about had enough so he decided to go meet Hoseok and demand that the elder speak with him. He was slowly starting to loose his mind.

Jungkook looked for Hoseok everywhere after his work ended and found him talking with Jimin. He slowly made his way to where they were. It was Jimin who saw him first.

"Hey Kook!!" Jimin yelled when he saw Jungkook.

Hoseok turned around and gave the younger guard a stern look. Jungkook approached him tentatively.

"What are you doing here Kook? You are not supposed to walk around. You should have gone straight to your room after work." Hoseok said with a tight voice.

"Please hyung, don't do this to me. I'm starting to loose my mind. I know what I did was wrong and I'm sorry for that, but please stop ignoring me hyung .." Jungkook desperately pleaded with his captain.

Hoseok's eyes looked sympathetic but the words he spoke, was not.

"No Kook. You still don't accept what you did was wrong and I can see it in your eyes. And you're not sorry at all." Hoseok said with a sigh before getting up. "I'm going Jimin. And Jungkook, I hope you'll go to your room right now without making more trouble for me."

With that Hoseok left, leaving a frustrated Jungkook and a very suprised Jimin.

"Kook, what did you do?" Jimin asked as soon as Hoseok was out of earshot.

"Why did you already assumed it's my fault?"

"Because I have known Hobi for a long time, a lot more than you. He's not someone to throw false accusations."

Jungkook sighed and told everything that happened. The fight, disciplinary committee hearing and his punishment, or the lack of it.

"Jungkook!! You dumb mutt!! No wonder Hobi's mad at you. What were you thinking?" Jimin looked absolutely shocked.

"I don't know, alright!!" Jungkook yelled in frustration. "Why is everyone blaming me? Why can't you see how he tries to toy with me?!"

"Listen Jungkook, prince Taehyung was my best friend. Hell, I think he still is. He may act like a little hot head sometimes but he's one of the most honourable men I have ever seen. He's not a one to toy with you like that. You must have made a mistake." Jimin said with a series look.

"Then you don't know him properly. 6 years is a long time for someone to change. He's an asshole!!"

"Jungkook!!" Jimin gasped. "Don't you dare talk about the prince like that."

"Why not??!! He's the most arrogant, pigheaded, fucked up asshole that I have ever seen in my life."

The sound of a loud slap echoed through the ground. Jungkook felt a painful sting in his cheek and realised that Jimin had just slapped him, hard. He cupped his own cheek and looked at the elder with shocked eyes.

Jimin was fuming in anger and was having trouble forming a sentence. But before he could say or do anything else, another voice sounded from behind them.

"Wow!" A deep voice broke the silence of the night. "I never knew you thought so high about me, Jungkook."

Taehyung was bored so he thought he would pay a visit to his brother. He could have gone through the palace but instead decided to go through the ground. Although that route was longer, the night air was so refreshing and Taehyung wanted to enjoy that.

He was almost at the end of garden when he met Hoseok, coming from the other side.

Hoseok must have been very suprised to see the prince because there's no way he would say what he said, otherwise.

"Your highness!! Where are you going?!" The words came out before Hoseok could stop them.

"I didn't realise that I had to inform you everytime I go somewhere Hoseok." Taehyung said with an amused chuckle.

"My apologies, your highness. I-I was just s-suprised." Hoseok stuttard while glancing back nervously.

Taehyung noticed his nervous glances and it kind of made him curious. He raised his eyebrows in a questioning manner but Hoseok just looked down.

Taehyung knows the captain of his guard enough to trust his loyalty. There must be something else that's bothering Hoseok. After few seconds of silent staring, Taehyung just walked towards that way Hoseok came from. It was the same direction he was initially going anyway.

"Your highness, don't go-" Hoseok started to speak but the prince silenced him with one look.

He continued to walk and as he expected, Hoseok stared to follow him.

Taehyung could see two people talking and with a jolt, he noticed that it's Jungkook and Jimin. He gave a reassuring smile to Hoseok as he realised that the captain has just tried to obey his command of not letting him see Jungkook.

"It's alright Hoseok. I'm not angry anymore. Let him go wherever he wants." Taehyung said in a soft voice and continued to walk. Maybe he should say hi to Jimin.

But as he got closer to the duo, he could hear that they were, infact, arguing about him. Taehyung watched in shock as Jungkook angrily described him, in the worst way possible and Jimin slapping him.

Taehyung felt his heart breaking a little at the hate in the younger guards words.

"Wow! I never knew you thought so high about me, Jungkook." Taehyung said in a soft voice, but he knows it will carry far in the silence of the night.

Both Jungkook's and Jimin's heads snapped towards him. Jimin was looking close to tears while Jungkook just stared with an open mouth.

"Tae-" Jimin started to speak but Taehyung stopped him.

"It's alright Jimin." Taehyung said with a pained smile. "Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. I just wish I knew what I did to deserve such adjectives."

Everyone held their breath as the prince walked towards Jungkook who instinctively took a step back.

"Since you hate me so much, I don't think it's polite or right for me to ask you to be my guard. I mean, it would be the last thing you would rather do, right?" The pain was evident in the prince's voice.

"I-I d-didn't m-mean-" Jungkook couldn't get the words out before the prince spoke up again.

"So you are hereby released from the royal guard, Jungkook. I won't make you protect such a despicable creature like me anymore."

With that, Taehyung turned around to walk back to his room. His mind and heart was so much in pain that he was worried he might start to cry.

After few steps, he felt a hand slip in to his hand and looked up to see his friend, Jimin, walking beside him. Jimin didn't say anything but kept the prince company till they reached the prince's room.
