14 - Being A fool, Again.

The change that came over the crown prince's eyes as they came to the other country was unbelievable. Jungkook always thought that the prince looked proud and smug but this new look, makes the old one seem soft as a cloud.

The gaze in the prince's eyes were so powerful and intimidating that Jungkook found himself unable to even look at the prince's eyes directly. He almost felt sad for the other king.

Taehyung knows how important this treaty is and wants to make no mistakes. He greeted the king politely, with Jungkook being as the translator and after exchanging the gifts they brought, they proceeded to sign the agreement.

Taehyung felt a certain giddiness as Jungkook was standing very close to him, translating the king's words in to his ears. Taehyung felt Jungkook's breath fan his ear occasionally, giving him goosebumps.

After the official procedures were done, a feast was prepared in celebration of two country's union. The king was not present however and his son, the crown prince Kai was representing their side. Jungkook was ready to act as the translator again but it was not needed as prince Kai was fluent in english.

"Welcome, prince Taehyung. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise, prince Kai."

"Shall we join the feast then?"

"Sure, lead the way."

Hoseok and Jungkook stayed close to Taehyung throughout the lunch and it didn't escape prince Kai's notice.

"You don't need to keep your guards or your translator with you here. As you can see, you and I can speak without a language barrier."

Taehyung saw Hoseok stiffened at that and gave a little laugh to prince Kai.

"That is true, prince Kai, but I actually like to keep my translator close. I find it difficult to concentrate when I don't understand what's being said around me. And as for my guard, well he's more of a friend and I'm comfortable with him around." Taehyung answered in a diplomatic way.

Taehyung noticed the way Kai looked at Jungkook, as if he's trying to measure Jungkook out. Taehyung felt annoyed and troubled so he finished with lunch quickly and said that he will go to his room as he was tired.

After the lunch, the prince Taehyung and others were directed to the rooms that were arranged for them. Taehyung visibly relaxed after they went in to the room. Hoseok followed him inside too.

"That went well, I think." Taehyung said as he massaged his temples.

Hoseok gave a nod. "As much as we could hope for."

"We should leave tomorrow morning. I'm not comfortable with Kai. It seems like he's planning something. " Taehyung said and Hoseok agreed.

They were talking over few points of the meeting when someone knocked on the door. Hoseok opened the door and saw it was one of his men.

"Captain, you have come quickly!!" The guy looked out of him mind.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Jungkook, he's gotten himself in to a trouble again." The guy explained and both Hoseok and Taehyung quickly followed the guard.

They reached a main palace and saw that Jungkook was on his knees, held captive by three people. Prince Kai was there, looking all smug.

Jungkook looked up as Hoseok and Taehyung reached him. Jungkook has never felt more relieved to see them both.
