He arrived at the bar where his friends are waiting for him. Tay immediately found them situated at the middle of the bar near the dance floor.
"Finally!", Off greeted him, giving him a high five. Gun nodded at him, Krist bumped shoulders with him while Singto patted him on the back.
"Welcome back, man.", he uttered, smiling widely at Singto who looks as happy as everyone.
"Thanks, pal.", the latter responded.
"I thought Nong Bright and Nong Win are here too?", Tay asked.
"They are over there.", said Gun, glancing at the other pair's direction.
Bright and Win are dancing on an upbeat music while both are holding a half empty bottle of soju.
"I think they are already drunk.", Singto uttered, shaking his head.
"Like someone I know who can't handle too much alcohol.", Krist uttered, grinning at his partner.
Singto pouted, looking shy at what his partner is indicating.
"Give him a break. He already had 2 glasses, going for a third round.", Gun retorted, suppressing a chuckle.
"Yeah. 2 glasses of pineapple juice!", Off butted in, teasing Singto.
Everyone laughed at Off's comment while Singto scatched his head, feeling embarrassed.
"Is P'New coming?", Krist asked afterwards, looking at Tay.
Tay couldn't answer right away. He doesn't know what to say. New is not responding to his text messages.
"He will come. I told him to come. I sent him the location.", Off answered instead, putting his arm over Gun's shoulders.
Krist just nodded.
"A toast for Singto's return!", Off raised his bottle, followed by Gun.
"Hey, you two, come here for a moment.", Krist bellowed at Win and Bright. Win noticed his P'Krist's call so he immediately pulled his partner back to the gang's table.
