"Hey has anyone seen Caitlin?" Asked Cisco walking into the cortex. She's late and she's not picking up her phone. She's never late. "I even checked the whole lab to see if she was playing a prank on me."

"Maybe she overslept?" Suggested Barry. They were all at the Cortex. "C'mon even someone as perfect and organized as Caitlin must be exhausted sometimes. Especially everything that happened with Savitar."

"Speaking of Savitar, do you think he's gone by now?" Asked Joe.

"He should be." Said Wally.

"No, something's not right." Said Cisco. "I'm going to go check up on Caitlin at her house. What if she's sick?"

"I'll come with you," I told Cisco.

They were just about to leave when Joe got a call. "Yes, Captain? He nodded at whatever Captain Singh told him. "Be right there," Joe told Captain Singh, shutting his phone.

"Barry we got to go, it's CCPD. There was a break-in last night at a shop."

I turned towards Cisco. "I'll catch up with you later alright?" I said clapping a hand on his back.
~
"Weird." I murmured. "Looks like the door was ice blasted in."

"You think it's Snart and his cold gun did this? Joe asked him.

"I'm not entirely sure yet." He suddenly saw something glimmered that caught the corner of his eye. "There's more look at this."

He picked up a piece with his gloves.

"Hey isn't that Caitlin's necklace?" Asked Joe crouching beside him.

My mouth was set in a hard line. "Yes, it is. It's completely shattered. Cisco was right. Something happened to Caitlin. She would never take this off of her."

"Joe, can you take it back to S.T.A.R labs? I have to check in Caitlin's apartment with Cisco to see if she's there."

"Go." Exclaimed Joe.

He nodded at him and zapped out of there with his speed before anyone could see him.

"Cisco, Joe, and I found something at the crime scene..."

I trailed off. Cisco was crouching beside a shattered mirror.

My forehead furrowed. "That's weird. We saw Caitlin's necklace shattered into pieces at the shop too and now her mirror is shattered? That can't be a coincidence."

Cisco's eyes were filled with worry. "I checked the whole house, she's not here either and her phone's still here. It was on the floor."

I shut my eyes for a second and exhaled. "Oh no, Cisco. I think something happened to her. I think Killer Frost took over her. That explains the shattered door at the shop. It was ice blasted. I thought it was Snart's cold gun at first but it's not. It was Killer Frost."

"We have to get back to S.T.A.R labs and find her," Cisco announced.

I put my hands on his shoulder. "Hey, this is not your fault."

"Isn't it? I promised her that I would do everything I can to help her. This was exactly what she feared. I failed her Barry. I failed my best friend." His lower lip quivered.

"I promised her as well Cisco. We all promised that we would help her but we can't get emotional right now. Caitlin needs us."

Cisco took in a deep breath and nodded. "Let's go get our best friend back."
~
Everyone was here back in S.T.A.R labs.

"I ran the DNA sample on the necklace. It belonged to Caitlin or Killer Frost. I ran the satellites too and hacked into every security camera near her apartment, no sign of her. She probably erased everything." Said Cisco.

"Keep searching for her through the satellites in Central City. She can't have gone far."

Cisco nodded grimly. "Will do. If Killer Frost took over her, she won't be Caitlin anymore, I'll check for any cold signatures in the city as well."

"If what Caitlin said is true, then Killer Frost is dangerous and a threat to everyone. We have to find her before she does something that she'll regret." I put my hands behind my head and looked at the ceiling frustrated.

"Hey," said Iris, putting a hand on Barry's shoulder.

"We'll find her okay? We'll get her back."

"I know but I can't help feeling guilty. She's my best friend Iris, I should have been there for her. God knows what she's going through right now. She must be terrified."

"She's strong. She can take care of herself, Barry."

"I know but I'm going to check everywhere just in case."

He whooshed out of there into the streets. Zipping through every corner, every street, every building there is in Central City. If he didn't have his super-speed, it would have taken him forever but luckily he does. There was no sign of her and he checked everywhere through the city twice.

He got back to S.T.A.R labs exhausted.

"Anything?" Asked Joe.

I shook my head silently and plopped down in a chair beside Cisco.

"I'm sorry," I muttered.

"Why are you sorry?" Asked Wally.

I pressed my lips together. "I can't help feeling like this is my fault. We should have helped her right away when she told us. We took the matter lightly."

"Hey, this is not your fault just like you told me it's not mine. Blaming each other, won't bring her back." Reassured Cisco. "It's not anyone's fault. If Caitlin were here, she would say the same thing."

"Where are you, Caitlin?" I murmured.

"I have an idea." Spoke up, Iris. "Why don't we all stay here for the night and we can take breaks finding her. I'll order some food too."

"I want Chinese." Said Wally.

They all looked at him.

"What?" He asked. "I'm starving and I work better on a full stomach.

"Mmm, I want pasta," I told Iris.

"I'm craving for Thai food." Joe murmured.

Iris smiled at them. "That's a lot of varieties. Cisco do you want anything?"

"Yeah actually, I would love some sushi and orange soda."

"Oh, I was craving that too!" She put up a hand and Cisco high-fived her. "Be back in a jiffy! I have to order all those."
