"Uh..." mom mutters, looking at the two of us curious and confused.

I mean, I don't wrong her, why would my best friend's brother come visit me?

I am sure she will need an explanation someday, but she will when it's the right time. But that is if Josh and I are still together, and thinking about it makes me a little angry.

My two blue eyes are shooting daggers at him while he smiles innocently at me as if nothing happened between us. He's being his charming self while suited in a white old Navy t shirt paired with grey jeans, his curly hair covering his forehead and his hands inside his pockets.

"Um, uh," she shakes her head confusingly, looking over at me. "I am going to leave you two. Honey, I will take care of dinner," mom tells me with furrow eyebrows.

"You look more beautiful, no, exquisite each day," he whispers deeply. His charming smile vanishing into a smirk. "My Annabelle, you are immaculate," he bites his bottom lip and I feel my skin crawl.

I know he is up to something and I know what that something is; I could tell from his lustful eyes, but I have to let him know how angry I am. He hurt me.

I sarcastically chuckle at his statement and give him a disbelieving look.

"So you're not going to invite me in, baby?" He asks in his cool and provocative, deep voice. "Well..." he pushes innocently.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, then roll my eyes. How could he act like this? Like nothing happened yesterday.

"To talk to you." he shifts uncomfortably on his feet, "I know yesterday was messed up and I am here to fix that," he shrugs lightly, licking his pink lips.

I widen the door and he walks inside looking around when my little siblings run up to him hugging his legs. He pulls his hands from his pockets and lifts my little sister from the ground his muscles flexing. He is so sexy. I chuckle to myself. He walks towards the living room holding my little brother's hand while they laugh and ask him questions. "You're my sister's boyfriend?" My brother asks. Josh turns and looks at me then smiles turning back to them.

"Yes, little man. I am. I am your sister's boyfriend," he turns and winks at me then turns back to my siblings. "What is your name?"

I feel my face heat and I try hiding it by looking around my house. My siblings seem to like him already, so that's out of the way.

"I am Austin," my little brother tells him.

"And I am Skai," Skai grins at him playing with Josh's hair.

"Your names are beautiful," he tells them ruffling their hair.

"Skai miracle us is on," Austin tells Skai. She wriggles from Josh's hold and they both run off to watch their cartoon.

I glance up at Josh, and he's staring at me with a smirk on his handsome face. This boy is going to be the death of me.

Despite the lingering thoughts of what happened yesterday, I find myself forgiving him without him even apologizing. He hurt me, and I didn't take it well, but mom said if he really cares, he'll fight for me, and here he is standing in front of me.

Though I feel this way, it doesn't mean I don't want him to apologize, because he has to. He needs to understand what he did to me.

I smile as he jeeps staring at me with unmoving green eyes, his tiny curls hanging over his forehead. "What?" I ask shyly, unable to stop the smile.

Why is being mad at him so hard?

"Nothing, you're just fucking beautiful," he says with admiration, and I smile, blushing.
