Earlier in Dumbledore's office...

After you spoke the incantation and coming to your awareness their was another person in the room just camouflaged.  As you placed the sword on a big cloth and covered it and got out the replica and put it in the glass cabinet, you used another spell. 'obscuro' you whispered as you purposely made lots of noise. Your wand was hidden behind the bag. The charm blinded whoever was standing there for at least a minute. You then quickly replaced the swords with the real one back in the cabinet and the fake one under the cloth. Why didn't you just do this earlier? you suspected someone was keeping an eye on you. You predicted that the spell must've worn off and left the office.

After leaving the common room...

You stroll along the corridors, you were really exhausted but did not want to go to your common room. The astronomy tower, it was one of the best places in the castle, the view was extraordinary it felt comfortable, relaxing. You'd been to the tower many times before, you liked watching the clouds move the stars twinkle, birds fly higher and higher into the sky. It was an escape for a while. You climbed up the stairs and walked in taking in a deep breath with your eyes closed. The tower was actually pretty big your eyes then came to focus to see a particular Hufflepuff sitting against the wall in thought. He didn't notice you at all, too lost in his mind. You walk past him and go to the nearest bookshelf. Behind it, you hid a couple of cushions and blankets as you came often and it could get incredibly cold, especially during the night.

'Blanket?' you said touching Cedric's shoulder kneeling next to him. He then flinches as you touch him, looking at you. He then takes it with an unreadable expression on his face. He looked very disturbed. You sat down next to him putting a blanket over yourself, closing your eyes for a moment. The stars glistened illuminating the sky. Not a single bird flew just the branches of trees shifting from side to side. The lake was visible from the tower, and the water moved slowly pushed by the noticeable wind in the air. Cedric remained in the same position the way you found him. He then moved his legs a little, finally breaking the silence. 'Rough night?' He asked you, gazing at the moon. 'Something like that' you answered as the wind started to blow harder. Why didn't anyone come up to the tower anymore? it was magnificent up here 'you?' you asked in return. 'I guess, just...really...tired' he yawned 'I didn't want to stay in the common room' he talked very slowly in a sleepy voice his eyes unable to remain open.

'I know the feeling' you reply also yawning. The sky darkened as you got deeper into the night. You grew tired and apparently, Cedric did as well. His eyes then closed and his head then fell on to your shoulder and you rolled your eyes playfully. You fixed the blanket, making sure it was on him. You fiddled with his brunette hair while you gawked into space.

The birds twittered, you were reading a book as the sun began rising. It was 6:15 am and you felt refreshed even though you got no sleep whatsoever. You moved quite a lot during the night but ultimately sat where you sat in the beginning. Cedric then soon woke up moments after. 'Good Morning sleepy-head' you say with a grin as Cedric rubbed his eyes.

'What?' he said still trying to process what was happening. You then close your book and stand up putting it in your bag. 'I was thinking of leaving you here for one of the professors to find you...but I decided not to be mean today' you say sarcastically.

'Too early for sarcasm y/n' he jokes as his hair was all tousled

'it's only six fifteen' you reason as you both walk out the tower

'you seemed off Ced what's up?' you asked a little concernedly

'Well trouble at home I suppose' he explains looking at his feet walking
