Chapter 52

'Y/n, what do you think?'  Harry asks 'y/n?' he asks again patting your arm, you then come back into reality.  You simply smile and nod. 'Brilliant!' Harry exclaims making his way to Ron who was sitting across the library. Y/o/n then flies into the library and drops something in front of your table. You open it rushedly, a reply from your parents.

Dear y/n and Lewis, 

I hope Hogwarts is good, can't really be this year. 

And y/n don't worry, we understand and we knew what was going on from the start in the forest. Both of you need to be extremely careful and cautious. We can only hope you stay safe. He's back, Voldemort. I'm sure Harry can sense it. Take care of each other. And I might be joining the order of the Pheonix soon sometime.

I'm not going to lie something bad is coming.

And if anything happens to me please don't worry and stay strong. Please write back, both of you. And promise me you'll be alright no matter what.

You rush over to the other side of the library at once reading the note over and over. 'Lewis!' you pant. He then looks up towards you. He was sitting with Hermione talking. You hand him the letter. And he begins to skim it.  

'What does if anything happens to me don't worry mean?' he speaks alarmingly

'I dunno' you say shaking your head 'As in somethings probably going to happen'

'Fantastic' Lewis sighs handing you the paper and sitting back down.

You finish writing back to your mother promising that you would be alright. Although it was quite strange she never said or wrote stuff like this. You soon gave the letter to your owl and it. flew away. You hurry up the common room stairs while you search for a book in your back. 'You're in a bit of a rush' Ron says chuckling you simply nod in reply. Continuing to walk up the stairs. You push open the room of your dormitory to find Hermione and Lewis kissing. He quickly pulls away 'y/n!' he says as you run back down the stairs with your eyes widened.

'What's wrong?' Harry asks 

'I just walked in on Hermione and my brother kissing' you say appalled. Ron then splutters the water he was drinking 'What!' he snaps.

'So I-I...I'm gonna go' you say awkwardly leaving the common room. You can hear Lewis's footsteps behind you but you bustle out of the room ignoring him. You continued climbing up the flights of stairs, slowly, before a hand on the shoulder stopped you. 'Y/n' Lewis breathed as you turned around and sighed. You just looked at him.

'What you saw w-was, I don't like Hermione don't worry we aren't a thing. I'm gonna let her down easy tonight' He explains himself and you sigh in relief. 

'No no it's fine Lewis' you reply reassuringly. You look at your watch to see half an hour had already passed. 'I honestly don't mind. It just caught me by surprise' you say with a tiny smile. He jokes a bit till a Hufflepuff comes up to you. 

'I'm leaving' Cedric says gazing down

'What do you mean leaving' you say furrowing your eyebrows 

'As in my parents called me back home for a couple of weeks. So I'll probably see you at the start of next year' He says slowly looking at Lewis.

'Oh is everything alright?' you pause 'I'll see you soon then' you say hugging him. Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy approached the three of you interrupting your goodbye. Crabbe held both your arms behind your back and Goyle, Pansy did the same to Lewis and Cedric. You groaned but he wouldn't let go of you. 'Let's take 'em boys' Pansy grins as they escort you to Umbridge's office. Crabbe then pushed you into her office when you arrived. You could see the trio there as well. And of course Umbridge. The fire was the only thing that lit the room. They still did not let go of you, you just stood in the corner of the room. Cedric glanced at you to make sure you were okay. You slowly nodded. Umbridge was muttering to the trio it was hard to understand what she was saying. 'Switch with me' Draco states coming over to you. He then stood behind you and began playing with your hands behind your back. You didn't say anything.
