'Don't freak out both of you' your dad says clearing his throat
'Freak out? that's going to calm me down' you reply sarcastically, worried. The guy, whose name you still haven't asked yet is looking at your mom, waiting for an explanation.
'Ok, darlings. Sixteen years ago, when I found out I was going to have a child. I wasn't going to have one but two. Once your father and I found out, we bought a house here near London. We were apart something called...the order of the...Pheonix. A secret organization you could call it, a group of people to help take down lord Voldemort, founded by Albus Dumbledore.'
'I'm sorry what, your not muggles' the boy stutters sitting upright at once.
'Yeah hun' your mom says holding his hands, you couldn't produce any words still processing what was going on.
'We wanted to keep our children away from that. Then I had two twins, not ordinary twins but a tiny witch and wizard. A boy and a girl. We kept them away from each other after James and Lily were killed. Once they both turned eleven, one received a letter to Hogwarts' your mom stops. Your father continuing 'And the other to Drumstrang' You both shoot a look at each other. A billion thoughts were going through your head. Your parents knew Harry's the thought of it made you smile. 'We named the kids Y/n and Lewis Y/l/n' he whispered. You started feeling a bit hotter as your parents talked. 'I-I need some air' you say storming outside of the living room trying to swallow whatever was stuck in your throat.
'Y/n' your mom said standing up, but your dad just pulled her back.
'I'll talk to her' Lewis said following after you
You then put your hands on one of the tables, your eyes blinking rapidly.
'Hey' Lewis said softly coming closer to you
'Wow, so y-your my b-brother my t-t-twin?' you say with a laugh
'And y-your my sister' he says pushing his hair back with his hand in shock his eyebrows raised
'Fun'
'Just come back' he says holding your hand, you pull your hand away from him. You stand for another moment before making your way to the living room to where your parents were sitting. You sat down taking a deep breath, but this time next to Lewis. 'How come we never saw each other?' you ask suddenly. Your father struggles to speak 'Well we purposely sent you too different schools, so you wouldn't be home at the same time during your breaks' Lewis starts fiddling with his fingers listening intently 'What about eleven years before?' Lewis asks his voice practically shaking at what your parents would reply with.
'Well...' your father begins
'No you didn't!' you burst out 'Tell me you didn't!'
'I regret it so much y/n, it was for your safety. We had no choice but to use the...obliviate spell'
'You did WHAT!' Lewis yells standing up
'You lied to me, to us!' you say angrily
'Well we erased all your memories of each other since you were eight' your father says ashamed of himself
'I can't believe you! I dont even know what to say to you right now' you said your vision going a bit blurry.
'You two were the best of friends, you did everything together and protected each other. If one of you got in trouble the other one would too. You cheered each other when you were sad. A-and, when we had, did w-w-what we did. The joy evaporated from your souls' your mother said closing her eyes shut.
'Wow, I-i can't right now' Lewis said running up the stairs right after you did. You slammed your door shut. And let out a loud groan kicking your door. You walked to your balcony, leaning on the balcony. Your face forward. A single tear slid down from your warm, eyes, followed by another one, and another one. Wow, they just did that, kept somebody that important away from you. You didn't know Lewis but it still hurt a tiny bit. You didn't know if you were angry or sad or guilty. Your door then slowly creaked open. You didn't look back. The door to the balcony also opens. Lewis stands behind you and leans against the railing too. 'Can I hug you?' you whisper. He walked up to you slowly and pulled you closer to him wrapping his arms around me. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around your frail body as you rubbed circles on his arm. The world around you melted away as you squeezed him back, not wanting the moment to end. 'I can't explain it, I feel like I've known you forever like I love you' he whispered his voice hoarse.
