"Well this isn't something you see every day."

You jolted awake, hearing a voice above you.

Once your vision had truly cleared, you came face to face with the 'Legendary' Toad Sage himself.

"Jiraiya... You have a real talent for spoiling the moment." Kakashi mumbled.

Spoiling the moment? What did he mean?

You then realised you were still in his arms, laying against to him. So close...

He was spooning you!!!

You shot out of bed, falling on the floor.

"Ah, there's the reaction I was looking for, you two seemed too comfortable in that position. Something going on, hm?"

"N-nothing like that!" You quickly fired.

He just raised a brow and Kakashi got out of bed.

He was way calmer than you were, almost as if nothing was wrong.

"Well, I wanted to tell you two that the Hokage wishes to see you at once. And your students are waiting for you both."

You nodded and rushed out the door with a small goodbye. The embarrassment was eating away at you.

It was just you helping your comrade out and comforting him, so why did you feel so guilty?

"Glad you all could make it. Even Jiraiya." The Hokage said.

You rolled your eyes a bit. The pervy old man was getting too comfortable, it was as if he had invited himself into the team or something.

"The mission I have for you is quite a great one. The daughter of a wealthy noble needs to be escorted to her parents home in another village. She would have gone with them when they left but it was too dangerous."

You all nodded in understanding but then Naruto just had to ask.

"Why cant her guards do it?"

"They aren't to be trusted at the moment. Now get ready. You'll be leaving in a few hours. She must get to her parents as soon as possible."

You all nodded and went in your seperate ways to pack.

Jiraiya, however, caught your arm just as you were leaving.

"(Y/N). Let's talk shall we?"

You nodded slowly and walked beside him on the way to your house.

"Personally, I don't like getting too into other people's business, you know, unless it's good business--he winked-- but this is serious business, that involves one of my best friends at that. I wanted to ask you, (Y/N). What is it you were doing in bed with Kakashi this morning?"

You explained to him what had happened the previous night, from the grave ceremony to how you and Kakashi ended up in such a position.

He listened intently, and when you finished, he was silent(for once).

"Hmm....Is that really all that happened?"

You nodded and he studied your expression before sighing.

"Well alright. I just thought.. Well... anyways, be careful. What would have happened if it hadn't been me who'd caught you? Don't forget that you're in a relationship." He said before patting your shoulder and walking off.

For some reason, his words seemed to haunt you.

Of course you were in a relationship. You knew that. It. Was. Just. A. Comforting. Hug.

In bed.

You sighed. You'd better get packing and write to Zoko to tell him you'd be out on a mission.

You all stood at the gates. The noble girl was almost an hour late, which, was actually to your relief, since, Kakashi was always late. However. He was surprisingly early this time.

This made you confused. Was he early because he wanted to actually be punctual for once, or he was excited to meet the noble girl.

Obviously, from your past experience with Kakashi, you couldn't tell, because, half of his face was covered, ad his visible eye held no emotion. You sighed. You didn't know why it bugged you, but you really wanted to know.

Finally, you hear footsteps approaching, and soon you saw two guards and a woman trailing behind.

As she got closer, you could see that she was astoundingly beautiful.

She had long black hair, pale fair skin, and pretty, round one eyes. Her lips were plump and pink, and she was petite, like a flower.

You tried not to feel insecure, but even your students couldn't help but stare.

"This is Lady Xi, please take good care of her." The guards bowed.

You all bowed to the lady.

She smiled a sweet smiled.

"Well, we better get going."

You couldn't help but look up, and there you saw Kakashi staring at her.

At lady Xi.

And for some reason.

Your heart dropped.
