Boom And Crackle

The rain whipped and lashed through the wind like a mustang on a track, shadows turning violent to the eyes as they fumbled to the winds waves. Tossing and turning as a building came to sight, and it seemed like only way to fend against the nipping winds and cutting rain. Pulling back the doors, animals bleated and  neighed as the wind caught them too. Closing the barn door again they only got louder to the unknown intruder in their rooms.

Pulling to a corner from the hushed animals and crowding rain, only light flashed from the windows and thunder crackled as he drew his hands to his ears. Such monstrous noises. Such demonic lights that blinded and scared him. What were these things? He drew closer what he had as shelter and could only think of the times he had that he didn't have to worry about anything. A time where he was safe and loved, and where he grew because he was loved. That was 3 years ago.
