It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house. Not a creature was peaceful, not even a mouse. Laurens and Alexander were still fighting all night. While Lafayette watched, with popcorn, at the entertaining sight. Martha and Washington had almost gone insane. The two boys complaining about the other, rattled their brains.

"I think he's being a little dramatic." Alexander ranted. "I mean, I know I should've told him about this earlier. But he's acting like a five year old giving me the silent treatment."

"I wish you would give me the silent treatment." Lafayette mumbled.

"Hey!"

"Alexander, just try and calm down." Washington said. "He has a right to be upset. You know that."

"I know, but I think he's too upset." Alexander continued. "I won't rant to you anymore. You shouldn't have to take sides." Alexander grabbed his coat and walked out the front door. He decided to go over to be with Eliza. She was the only one he could think of that would take his side. And even then, he wasn't too sure. He walked up to the front door of Schuyler Manor and knocked. Hoping to see any family member as long as it wasn't Peggy. He was scared of her right now. He was happy to see Angelica.

"Alexander?" Angelica asked. "Hey, come on in."

"Peggy isn't here, is she?" Alex questioned.

"She's upstairs. Why?"

"No reason. How's the baby?" Alexander changed the subject.

"Good. You'd be glad to know we have decided on Richard Hamilton Church. Stephen is no longer an option." Angelica laughed.

"Wait, actually?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks Ange." He gave her hug. "I will remember this."

"Well, I think Angelica is a good name meant for a first born daughter." Angelica teased. "Just to put it out there."

"Yeah, I'm 19. You're gonna have to wait a little while." Alexander laughed.

"So what brings you here Hamilton?"

"Your sister."

"I thought you said you didn't want Peggy to be here?"

"I was referring to my wife."

"Oh, right." Ange giggled. "Sorry. I'm not really thinking straight. Right now the only thing on my mind is a Hershey's kiss."

"The baby likes chocolate?" Alex asked.

"You have no idea."

"Hey Ange! Who's at the door?" Peggy asked from upstairs.

"Don't tell her I'm here!" Alexander blurted out.

"Alexander!!!!" Peggy yelled.

"Great!"

"Uh-oh." Angelica sighed.

Peggy ran downstairs and tackled Alexander to the ground. Pinning his arms to the floor.

"I thought we had a truce!?!?!?!?!" Alexander complained.

"Keyword! Had!!!!!!!" Peggy yelled.

"Peg, get off of him!" Angelica tried to pull her off.

"Not until he begs for mercy!" Peggy spat.

"I'm sorry, will you please let me go?" Alexander asked.

"No!!!"

"Peggy? What the heck is going on?" Eliza came in.

"I'm trying to kill your husband. I'm sorry, but you'll have to wear black for a year." Peggy replied.

"Peggy!" Eliza pried her off of him. "What is going on?"

"Ask your husband." Peggy glared at him.

"I should leave." Alexander turned around. "This was clearly a bad idea."

Eliza grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "Too late now Hamilton."

"Talk pip squeak!" Peggy stated.

"What do you want me to say! Me and Laurens hate each other now? Or we're just going through a family matter?" Alexander deadpanned.

"Why do you hate each other now? You guys are like best friends?" Angelica asked.

"You didn't tell her, did you?" Eliza asked.

"More or less."

"You knew about this?" Peggy questioned.

"Knew about what?!?!?!" Angelica exclaimed.

"Alexander and Maria had their affair around the time Laurens was abducted. They were both supposed to drive home, but ding dong decided to cheat on his wife while his brother was tied up in the back of his father's car!!!!!" Peggy explained.

"You did what!?!?!? I knew you had guilt when he went missing, but I never knew why!" Angelica yelled.

"I'm sorry! How was I supposed to know that was going to happen?" Alexander threw his arms up.

"You shouldn't have had an affair in the first place." Angelica stated.

"For the last time. We were not married yet." Alexander defended himself.

"And that makes it ok?" Peggy asked.

"Guys! This isn't roast Alexander time. So what do you need help with?" Eliza asked.

"I can't really talk to anyone else but you, Eliza. I need to talk with you." Alexander explained. "Can we go somewhere in private?"

"No! I'm still not done with you, runt!" Peggy reached for him, but Angelica stopped her.

"You are for now." Eliza rolled her eyes. "Come on."

She led him outside to the garden where they sat on a bench.
"What happened? I thought you wanted to fix things."

"I tried, but now he's being ridiculous and won't even talk to me. Not even for five minutes." Alexander explained.

"How did this whole thing begin again?"

"I found out Jefferson impregnated a girl named Martha Wales. In exchange for me not telling his secret, he said he wouldn't tell Laurens my secret. But when the baby was born, he said I had to tell him or he would. I tried to tell Laurens, but Jefferson did first."

"Ok, right. Now Peggy knows too?" Eliza asked.

"Everyone in my family knows and now so does everyone in your family." Alexander sighed. "Laurens is being really overdramatic though. I mean, it's not like I kidnapped him."

"Alexander? I know you think this is his fault. But it's just as much yours." Eliza said. "Tomorrow is Christmas. Can you just try and get along with him? Just for the day?"

"Fine. I'll try." Alexander sighed. "But I can not make you any promises whatsoever."

"Alex?"

"I will try my best."

"Thank you. Just keep telling yourself. 'It's Christmas and you want to keep your wife happy. Happy wife, happy life.' Ok?" Eliza laughed.

"Deal."
