RUBY WOKE UP THE LAST MORNING AS RUBY CARTER WITH SANTANA LOPEZ RIPPING THE DUVET OFF HER BODY AND JUMPING ON TOP OF HER. As her own wife filmed the moment from the doorway of Ruby's bedroom. Groaning at the initial intrusion of sleep and regret of giving her a key to her house, the brunette flung her arm out to push her best friend away as she jumped on the bed in excitement. When she opened one eye to peek an annoyed look at Santana, who was already grinning down at the younger girl.

"GET UP BITCH! YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!!" Santana screamed with a grin and dropping to her knees to pull Ruby into her arms giddily.

Dragging Ruby into her living room; Brittany turned to head to the kitchen to go put the coffee machine on as Santana made sure they had everything packed and ready to go in the car before heading to the venue to meet the rest of the bridal party. Where her bridesmaids were ready to meet the bride to be and get ready for their friend's most special day.

Ruby didn't say anything as she closed her eyes, face mask on and her hairdresser playing with her hair as she listened to the buzz of her girls dashing around the room, drinking champagne and getting ready themselves. She couldn't help but feel the smile creep onto her face, the contentment seeping in and she hadn't even got married yet. Ruby was just happy to be surrounded by those who loved her the most and those who loved her just the same.

Ruby didn't think she was nervous about the day at all. Not running up to the day. Not when Santana woke her up this morning. Cold feet never even crossed her mind because she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Sam Evans. She knew when she was sixteen and she knew when she was twenty four. It was the only thing she's ever been certain of and that was her love for the dorky boy who loved to do stupid impressions and she knew that would never change.

So why did now as she was stood with her hair and make-up done, Santana and her Mum helping her into her wedding dress, did the sudden feeling of "holy shit this is actually happening"  rush through her entire body and buzz along side those butterflies in her stomach?

When her mum finished zipping up the back of her dress, Ruby let out the breath she didn't realise she had been holding as she looked at her mother through their reflection in the mirror. Julia Carter couldn't help but cry as she took in how beautiful her little girl looked, pressing a soft kiss to her daughter's hair, she left quickly to fix her make-up once Ruby had asked for a moment with Santana.

"Santana -- did you ever feel nervous before you married Brit?" Ruby asked nervously.

"No, why? You're not about to do an Emma Pillsbury and run out on Trouty Mouth are you?" She whispered in shock; pulling on her hand, ready to comfort her at a seconds notice.

"No! No -- I just I've never felt nervous about today before and I just had a moment as I looked in the mirror that made this feeling rush through me. It's just freaked me out a bit."

"You know -- just before I married Brittany. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her more than anything in this world and I could feel those butterflies flying about and I didn't know why until I realised those butterflies were just getting ready. I wanted to marry her so bad, my body just knew I wanted to feel those butterflies around her for the rest of my life."

"You love Sam don't you?" Ruby nodded.

"You want to spend the rest of you life with him?" Santana asked.
