Chapter Forty-Four: Twisted

The students from all schools participating in the Pro-Hero Licensure Exam were stopped and gazed at Izuku who gives himself an unexpected welcome in which the students were all focused on him.

"M-Midoriya!" Kirishima called and approaches him.

"Hm? That's who they call the "Deathbringer?" Camie asked.

"Surely he is." Seiji said.

"Kirishima-kun, it's nice to see you back." Izuku said.

"You've gotten taller, eh? How was life?" Kirishima asked.

"I've faced despair many times. And now it's my turn to give my despair to others." Izuku said.

'He has changed...' Kirishima thought.

"Hey! It's nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya!" Inasa exclaimed and offered his hand.

"Oh, sure." Izuku said with a smile and shook his hand. Camie felt the smile Izuku has shown and her heart started to race.

'What's this sensation...? His smile... as if he is... a prince.' Camie thought.

"Hey, Camie, let's go!" Seiji yelled.

"Okay, okay." Camie said and walks away while her head still looked at Izuku.

"How dare she stares at Izuku like that?" Momo said with an irritated look.

"Is there anything wrong with that?" Izuku asked.

"Oh, Izuku! I-It's not that bad but... It's kinda not so good for my side to see someone looking at you." Momo said.

"But you don't feel anything bad to my side after what you did to yourself? And to cheat on me?" Izuku said and Momo looked down. Shoto approaches Izuku with a bit pissed look but Tanjiro stands up and faces him.

"Tanjiro?" Shoto asked.

"You're trying to make things worse, Todoroki. Better not start up a bad conversation." Tanjiro said.

"Calm down, you brats. Now everyone get inside and prepare yourselves for the exam." Aizawa said.

"Yes, sir!" Everyone replied. Izuku walked ahead and stopped as he nearly forgets to interact with Teishi.

"You're new to the class?" Izuku asked in a low key menacing manner. Teishi already felt the pressure Izuku suddenly gave to him.

"Y-Yes, I am. My name is Teishi--" He was stopped when Izuku turned around and walked away.

"We'll know all of that later because the proctor will introduce us all to the other schools and the same goes for them." Izuku said.

"O-Oh." Teishi said and follows the class. Moya can be seen observing Teishi and the students from a building hundred meters away from them and he giggled at the situation.

"Teishi surely is nervous right now! Just at how he felt that guy's tremendous power!" Moya laughed. He suddenly felt fear as Izuku stopped and quickly looked in Moya's direction. The Neglected Gas Tiger quickly hid in a huge container and while holding his breath.

'Shoot! What is this...? A catastrophic feeling that I quickly felt! That was purely a bloodlust out there!' Moya thought while covering his mouth and sweating.

"I saw you." Izuku uttered and continued to walk away. Teishi tried to foresee Izuku's future in one minute but he can't use his ability.

'I've stared at him straight and well but... Why is my ability not working on him? Does he know already about me? But who could be his intel? This is going to be tough.' Teishi thought.
