57th Chapter

- Where I am? - I asked as I woke up confused in the infirmary. My head hurted me really a lot and I only saw a nurse standing next to me. I was confused what happened and I couldn't remember what was happening the whole time.

- Sultana, you were kidnapped. Prince Bayezid has found you. You were beaten and your head is hurted. - nurse said to me as she seemed happy that I woke up finally.

I tried to sit on bed because I couldn't lay down anymore, but my head was hurting me so much.

- Sultana, please don't move. It will be easier for you to stay calm. - Nurse said to me.

- Where is Bayezid? Whwre is everyone? - I asked her as I was totally lost. I couldn't remember what has happened with me, I only felt strong pain.

The nurse explained to me where they had found me. She told me the whole story of what had happened to me, and only then did my memory begin to return. I also remembered the hut in the woods and Rustem who kidnapped me. I remembered Yahya who saved me, and who I owe my life.

At that moment, Bayezid entered the infirmary. I saw a smile on his face when he saw me awake. He signaled to the nurse to leave the room. He walked over to the bed and kissed my forehead gently and hugged you.

- My love, my Aslihan. I was wrong. I was wrong because I haven't trusted you. I didn't even think they are capable of doing something like that to you. It is all my mistake. Its my fault that I've almost stayed without you. - Bayezid said to me in a sad tone of voice as he kissed me. I saw he is feeling really sad because of what happened to me.

- That is why I've repeated those things to you million of times, and you never believed me. Now when you almost stayed without me, I hope you realised how serious their threatning is. - I said to him proving him a point I was right for the whole time.

- I can't explain to you how happy I am that you are fine now. I am so sad for everything that happened to you. - he said as he hugged me and laid next to me.

- This is why I am afraid of it. What if they would have done this to Murad? How would he save himself? If Yahya didnt help me and you wouldnt find us, I would be already dead. - I said to him as my eyes were filled with tears.

- My love, they won't be able to do something like that never again because my father will punish them. - Bayezid said to me in serious voice.

- What? - I asked him as I was shocked. I didnt believe Sultan Suleyman would actually do something bad to his loved one Hurrem. Also, Rustem was Grand Vizier and his only daughter Mihrimah's husband, so it didnt seem real to me that he would punish them.

- Tommorow at morning they will be punished. Both Valide and Rustem are sentenced to death. Father is devastated that he must have done it. - Bayezid said to me and I could hear he is kinda sad about it.

- I know it is hard because its your mother... - I started telling him, but he interrupted me.

- I don't care. She never looked at me equally as she did Selim. She never cared for me. She did only bad things to woman I love more than anything in this world, you. And thats why she deserves to be punished. - Bayezid said to me.

That day I have spent recovering in the infirmary. The pain was huge but I knew I have to recover so I could go at the Tower tommorow to see the punishment of Hurrem and Rustem.

As sun raised that morning, I dressed up with help of Meryem Kalfa. It was hard for me to stand on my legs, but I forced myself to walk to the Tower.

I saw Mihrimah, Ismihan, Gevherhan, Şah, Rana and Defne all standing there. I bowed to Mihrimah but ignored everyone else, and went to stand beside her.
