A/n - when I posted the last chapter, a few of you were angry at the last bit. I promise I did it for a reason, so just bare with me for now. It'll make sense soon. Also I had 5 chapters ready to be published and wattpad was like 'lol no❤️' and deleted them.

"She seems out of it." Reggie looks into my eyes and tries to poke my cheek, making me smile lightly at him, but I just wanted him to move so that I could have Luke in my eyesight.

"Of course she's out of it, we gave her almost double the amount that you're supposed to. I'm surprised she's not trying to rip Luke's clothes off right now." Alex sassily said to Reggie.

"Yeah well maybe you shouldn't have put 10 drops in her drink, she's probably going to be like this for the next few hours."

Almost every reaction that I would normally have, felt like it was blocked out, and I could do nothing about it.

"Let's just make her sleep it off, wouldn't that help?" I couldn't help but hear the slight worry in Luke's voice, even if it was for show, it did seem like he cared.

"Doubt it. We should start on the cabinet, it'll be harder to sneak away once everyone is back." Alex grabbed a backpack, and started heading toward the gryffindor entrance.

"We can't do that now, she's practically a zombie, she could hurt herself if we leave her." Luke finally came toward me, making my heart burst with excitement. I reached out for him, but obviously my hand went straight through him, it made me sad that I couldn't actually touch him, but it was just something we had to live with.

"Bring her with. We need to try and find out what we have to do, to get it to work. You already know what'll happen if we don't."

"Fine but one of us will need to be with her at all times." Luke motioned for me to get up, which I did with ease, as I followed him out of the common room, and toward the room of requirement.

The whole time we were walking, my eyes couldn't leave Luke. It was like he was one side of a magnet, and I was the other.

"We're here." Luke says lightly to me, as he pulls out a chair for me to sit on. "Reg, you're babysitting first."

Reggie had barely said anything since the common room, and the look on his face when Luke told him what to do, was a look of disapproval.

As I sat on the chair, with Reggie sitting on the floor next to me, fiddling with some ash, I couldn't help but think about what I actually know about Luke. Yes I knew his family history, but what was his favorite pasta shape.

"Reggie?" I keep my eyes focused on Luke, who is fiddling with the cabinet a couple feet away from us.

"Hm?" I can feel Reggie's eyes on me.

"What's Luke's favorite pasta shape?"

"What?" He laughs. "Oh you're actually serious. Uh, I think farfalle, cuz it looks like a bow tie."

"He would look nice in a bow tie."

"We definitely shouldn't give you as much as we did. Why do you ask?"

"Because I love him, and I know nothing about him."

"He's a difficult person to get to know. He's somewhat of a closed book."

"Why?"

"He's had a hard life. But I'll give you a fact about him, he's actually really into quidditch, he's a really good seeker."

"Me too."

"And humble I see." Reggie laughs at me once again.

"Reg, you are free of your babysitting duties." Luke walks up to us, and sits down next to me, on the opposite side that Reggie was sitting.

"On it." Reggie gets up and walks over to Alex.

"So how are you doing." Luke smirks at me.

"Great." I reply, the airiness in my head seems to take over and I fall to the floor.

Luke quickly rushes over to me to see if I'm okay, and I just end up giggling at his concerns.

"How about we stay on the floor, for now at least."

"Okay." We both cross our legs and watch Reggie and Alex, as they try come up with a solution to the cabinet problem.

"What are you trying to do with that thing." I turn to Luke again.

"We're trying to find a way to make it work again, right now it only links to another cabinet, that was destroyed after the war. If we can some how make another one appear somewhere else, we can bring Voldemort back."

"How can you bring him back if he's dead."

We sit in silence for a few minutes, the current statement of mine, clearly sinking into Luke's brain.

"You're right." He puts his head in his hands, clearly upset, and I couldn't help but blame myself for his sadness. It takes a few minutes to come up with a solution, but eventually I do.

"You could bring him back from another time, make the cabinet a time machine."

Luke stares at me, with a look that makes me think, that he thinks I'm crazy, but eventually his face molds into one of joy and accomplishment.
