Annabeth's POV -------
I wake up the next morning with a smile on my face. Not really sure why, but I put on some lip gloss.
I didn't even know I owned lip gloss.

On the way out the door I grab a granola bar, as breakfast, and take a huge bite as I walk down the sidewalk.
I get to the bus stop early, unlike every other day, so that leaves me time to sit and wait. Yay.
It's a nice spring day, which is sort of unusual, in a good way. I mean I've never heard of a horribly bad nice spring day, so that works out.
When the bus rounds the corner of the street, I stand up, along with everyone else. It pulls to a stop just as I see Percy, running down the sidewalk like a maniac, shirt on backwards and messed up hair.
Basically completely normal, by his
standards.
When he gets next to me he looks down, out of breath.
"Good, didn't miss it." he says.
"No, I thought you did." I say flatly, but end up smiling when he does too.
"I know, totally seemed like we missed it there."
"Like you missed it there." I correct. "I've been here for ages."
"Sure you have, I bet you got here aft-" Percy and I are interrupted by someone shoving us onto the bus.
"Shut up already!" That person says.
-----------------------------
"C'mon Anna, please?" Percy begged. He's talking about a party I should apparently go to with him, and I already refused. Twice.
"No, I have to babysit Bobby and Matthew, and study for that calculus test tomorrow. Sorry."
"But Annabeth..."
"Nope sorry."
He huffs and turn around.
"Fine, I'll go by myself."
"Great, have fun." I say, and keep studying.
He stands up and trudges out my room.
In the hall, he turns around to tell me something, "If you change your mind, it's at Jason's place. You know where to find me."
The he leaves.
"Percy, you're impossible." I mumble when I hear his car start from outside.
