Artemis Black - Fred Weasley

Saving Harry

"Are you sure that this is his house?" Artemis asked as they drove closer to the window of the home. Bars were incasing the window and all of the lights were off, the only thing providing lights were the moonlight and the lights from the front of the car

"Positive, now move closer Fred" Ron murmurs and Fred moves the car closer tp the window, so close that the side of the car was almost touching the house. Ron began tapping on the window but nothing happened

"a little harder ronald" Artemis says quickly and he does it again but nothing happens "for h-" Harrys head suddenly popped up and gazed at them through the window, looking at Artemis Black and Ronald Weasley with wide eyes, eyes full of confusion, disbelief... and hope 

Ron! Artemis! what are -" breathed Harry, creeping to the window and pushing itup so they could talk through the bars. "Ron, how didyou — What the — ?"Harry's mouth fell open as the full impact of what he was seeing hit him. Ron was leaning out of the back window of anold turquoise car, which was parked in midair and Artemis was leaning over him from the middle of the back seat trying to get a better look at Harry. 

Grinning at Harryfrom the front seats were Fred and George, Ron's elder twinbrothers and Artemis Blacks best friends. 

"All right, Harry?" asked George. 

"Yes he's fine George, I'm sure being locked up in your room with bars on your window is an exciting way to spend your holidays" Artemis states and then pokes her head through the two seats in the front to look at the twins "Im sure that we could persuade Mrs Weasley to put bars on your window"

"You wouldn't dare" the twins states and Artemis grins at them and then leans back into the back of the car and looks at Harry again

"What's been going on?" said Ron. "Why haven't you been answering mine or Artemis's letters? I've asked you to stay about twelve times, andthen Dad came home and said you'd got an official warning for using magic in front of Muggles —" 

"It wasn't me — and how did he know?" Harry asked and he looked annoyed as he looked over at his red-haired best friend

"He works for the Ministry," said Ron. "You know we're not supposed to do spells outside school 

"You should talk," said Harry, staring at the floating car and Artemis grinned

"Oh, this doesn't count," said Ron. "We're only borrowing this.It's Dad's, we didn't enchant it. But doing magic in front of thoseMuggles you live with —" 

"I told you, I didn't — but it'll take too long to explain now —look, can you tell them at Hogwarts that the Dursleys have lockedme up and won't let me come back, and obviously I can't magicmyself out, because the Ministry'll think that's the second spell I'vedone in three days, so —" Harry started asking them

"Stop gibbering," said Ron. "We've come to take you homewith us." 

"honestly Harry what did you think? that we were going to leave you here with this awful muggle family? Honestly" Artemis said with a sarcastic scoff and then grinned at the boy with a mischievous glint in her eyes "speaking of, they are all asleep arent they"

"Yes, of course they are" Harry says and the twins and Artemis all share a grin "But you can't magic me out either —" Harry continued

"We don't need to," said Ron, jerking his head toward the frontseat and then over at Artemis and Ron grinned widely. "You forget who I've got with me." 

"Tie that around the bars," said Fred, throwing the end of a ropeto Harry. 

"If the Dursleys wake up, I'm dead," said Harry as he tied therope tightly around a bar and Fred revved up the car.
