Yara POV. 🦋

Kentrell and I talked for about almost two hours just catching up on each others lives. He told me about what life is like while having a high profile. How it's difficult and annoying, but that's just one of the many aspects of gaining fame. I wanted to ask him what the deal was with all these groupies he be holding hands with, but I decided against it. He told me about his spiritual awakening while being locked up and how God kept giving hims signs to keep going and execute his plans.

"So basically, you're saying God was giving you omens throughout your spiritual journey?" I asked

"Exactly. The signs were distinct, but it was like God was telling me to not lose faith and get back on the right path." He said

I smiled and nodded. "I love that for you, genuinely." I smiled "Maybe getting locked up was a blessing in disguise in order for you to bring out the better version of yourself." I said

I love how we're able to talk about deep topics with eachother while exchanging stories of our life experiences. Talking with him was just always so easy.

"Damn, I never thought about it like dat. I think you right, cus it definitely got me on the right path. I regret even making that drop." He said shaking his head

"So wait, your telling me that right after I left, you went to go make a drop?"

"Yeah. The crazy shit is, it felt off from the jump like something was about to go down. But I was so money hungry, that I went and did it anyway. Crazy cus it turns out that boy Rashad had set us up. But my niggas got him when I was locked up, so he out the picture." Kentrell shrugged

"Wait a minute. Who's Rashad?" I asked confused.

"Remember the nigga who was being disrespectful towards you and called you out yo name the night you left? That's Rashad." He said

"Welp. He was giving me snake vibes too, from the way he was talking to me like he was bitch or sum." I said. "But Rashad, Rashad..." I repeated trying to remember where I heard that name. "Wait. Was Rashad 'Lil RaRa' that stayed around the corner from Chippewa? We was like 10 years old and we was all playing tag and the-" I said before getting cut off by Kentrell.

"-And then his older brother rolled up on us and yanked him in the car. Talking bout some, "Real men don't play no damn kiddie games. GET YO ASS IN THE CAR." he said impersonating Rashad's older brother's voice.

I bust out laughing. "Yesss, omg I honestly felt bad for him. He kept treating him like a grown man even though we was only 10. Rashad was always under the influence of his older brother." I said shaking my head trying to remember his brother's name, but I couldn't.

"Yeah, but you can only dish out disrespect for so long. And that snake shit was just the last straw. It's the laws of the streets, and he didn't follow them. Rashad had it coming." Kentrell said shrugging his shoulders.

"But wassup wit you. Miss YaraChanel the 'social media influencer' " he said laughing

"Bye Kentrell. And I wouldn't call my self an influencer... just a business owner who has the talent of influencing others." I said laughing. "But nah seriously nothing is really up with me. Daily routine consists of client meetings, YouTube videos, manufacturer consultations and maybe a nice lil turn up session with my girl Karin." I said chuckling

"Who's Karin?" Kentrell asked

"My bestfriend. I met her when I moved to New York with my dad." I said

Kentrell dramatically gasped putting both hands over his heart. "So you done replaced huh? I see how you moving Chanel." He said looking away from me.
