He's been fading in and out of consciousness for the past twenty minutes. Every now and then, he'd mumble words that were incoherent, then I could make out some words like 'zombie', 'baby', or 'run'.

His head would tilt from side to side, acting as if he was in a bad dream and his body was trying to wake him up. More blisters were forming around his face, lumps could now be found under the skin on his chin.

It worried me to death about him, but every time his eyes would open, I'd make sure that he saw me smiling towards him.

"I'm sorry for making you sick." I whispered so he was the only one to hear me, but I doubt he could even hear that.

If I had been more careful about hitting the Z, maybe he wouldn't be sick right now. I patted his already wet forehead with a damp rag one of the Amish nurses' had given me. The bowl for the water was at my feet, so I was sure not to bump it.

For a second, his eyes fluttered open and they stayed like that for a minute.

"Hey, hey. Are you okay?" I asked, scooting closer to him.

I patted his cheek with the rag, careful not to touch a bubble. I'm very aware that he is still contagious and I'm at risk of infecting myself, but it's 10K we're talking about.

"Tommy.." He breathed out the foreign name, turning his head towards me, "Name is Tommy.."

For some reason, the reveal of his name made my heart skip a beat. Is he actually telling me this, or does he think I'm someone else?

"Your-Your real name is Tommy?"

I grinned down at him, because for some reason, I felt special. To him. Not to just anyone but to him. He rolled his head to the right before finding my face again.

"Why are you just telling me?" I questioned his logic, eyebrows fusing together as I thought he was thinking the worse about his situation.

His eyes began to tower back behind the lids, shutting them as his chest was brought up before eventually going back down. He could be just out of it and not realize what he's doing. Maybe I shouldn't bring it back up unless he mentions it.

"Forget it." I breathed out, failing to hide the smile I was proudly wearing, "Let's focus on getting you back into killing shape."

After about ten minutes of just staring into 10K's face, carefully outlining his jawline and curve of his nose, and listening to his labored breathing, I could hear a familiar woman that was going into actual labor.

Her screams were violent and somewhat deafening, so I could only imagine what she was putting Murphy and Doc through.

"Serena is probably giving them Hell." I chuckled at the thought, dapping the wet cloth against his warming neck.

Serena is a handful as is, I could just see how she was acting while in pain. My attempt to cool 10K's overheating body was complete failures each time, but I refused to just sit there and twiddle his thumbs for him.

I felt a little more useful when I pressed cold water to the Sun. Plus, with all of the nurses around, I'm sure they wouldn't be able to keep a close eye on him like they should. There is too many patients around these parts to be focused on one singular man.

I huffed out a breath of air, looking around the place. It was brightly lit for everyone to see where they were walking, and with the Sun's help, it looked like they had electricity for once. None of the people on the twin sized bunks seemed to be healing.
