Yet, the 'savior' of this camp didn't get to scowl his disrespectful child, because a Korean looking man opened the curtains to the trailer that we were occupying.

"We've got company."

With the sickening grin towards Addy and I, he left.

"You, get this meat back in the kitchen and tie up Little Rose. Bring her out on my call."

The pervert with red stains all over his clothing quickly gathered me up by bounding my body in his arms, bringing my back closer to his dirty chest. My foot automatically went to kicking his shin, but in retaliation to the abuse, he smacked the living Jesus out of me.

I fell down onto the ground, hard. My throat quivered into a groan, feeling warm liquid run down to my chin. The cocking of a gun made my whole body go stiff. I turned to see the guy pointing a gun at Addy.

"You do that shit again and I'll blow this pretty bitch's head off. Now, stand up and turn around."

The guy has had enough of my bullshit.

"Son!" I heard Tobais shout outside once my hands were tied tighter behind my back instead of in front of me.

Grabbing my wrist, the man brought me out into the bright daylight. Another male went inside to, probably, get Addy. The fuzzy faced man brought me beside Tobais, who started to play with my loose (H/C) strands.

Garnett.

"Charlie!" I cried, trying to go forth to my real father figure.

I saw happiness in those beautiful blue eyes once his eyes landed on me. Where is everyone? Where is Mack? Did they hurt him when getting Addy? I kept trying to get closer and closer to Charlie, but the man holding my shoulder was stronger than me.

Removing itself from my left shoulder, he brought it down to my hip. Fuck.

"Apparently, you've been talking to my little Sunshine."

Cassandra. Cassandra was his Sunshine.

"Please, dad. Get us out!" I felt tears starting to stream down my redden cheeks at the thought of being eaten or even seeing more human meat, "They're crazy!"

"Say that again and I will eat your heart out." The guy holding me hostage threatened in my ear, pulling my butt back into his crotch.

"We both have something that the other wants." Tobais grinned, lacing his fingers together to lean against his large stomach.

"You're gonna give me Addy and (Y/N) back. We're going to walk away and you can eat anybody you want."

Charlie came closer to the fence, interweaving his fingers through the metal holes.

"Perhaps we can make a deal," Tobais charmed, "Give me back my Sunshine and you can have your precious Addy."

"I'm not gonna negotiate with a cannibal. You're going to give me back our girls."

"You know the first rule of negotiate is, right? The person who wants it least wins."

"If you harm either one of them, we'll kill every single one of you."

"Kill away," Tobais snapped back, "Frankly, I've had about all the zombie apocalypse I can take, but of course, you and the girls will be the first to die."

Charlie started to pull away from the heavily guarded fence at the same time one of Tobais' men uncovered a special kind of gun. No. No. No!

"That's what I thought." The enemy chuckled at his own words, "Do you know the second rule of negotiation?"

Charlie was already creeping away from the situation, to my dismay. My struggling attempts to get away from my holder was failing, miserably. Every time I think he'd let me get way, the grown ass man would jerk me back harshly.

"What?" Charlie questioned, still moving backwards.

"The guy with the 50 caliber machine gun wins."

Charlie's head shot up when he finally noticed the gun, pointed directly at him. Oh, God. The shooter was just about to shoot when an all too familiar brunette came running down from the hill.

No doubt that the others were back there, watching.

"Stop! Let them go, Tobais."

Before greeting his own Sunshine, Tobais whispered something to the Korean man, that stayed beside him until the order was given. Charlie whispered something to Cassandra as well, making her smile up at him with a nod.

"Let them go and I'll come back."

"Don't do it!" Addy shouted from behind me.

Even when I tried to turn around, the guy was not having anything but my struggles.

"Kill them. Kill them all!" Addy pleaded, being brought up to the fence by one of the men.

What's going on? My body stopped struggling, only to shake with fear. Are-Are they just going to swap those two? What about me? Maybe it's selfish but I don't want to be here either! The metal fence slid back to allow Cassandra and Addy to meet one another.

They held each other's foreheads together. Addy tried to plead with her to go away, but Cassandra pushed her towards Charlie so she, herself, could walk through the Gates of Hell.

"My Sunshine." Tobais held up his open arms, but when Cassandra's eyes landed on my crying orbs she stopped.

"Let them both go!" Cassandra shouted, a foot away from the cannibal.

"Tobais, this wasn't the deal." Charlie stepped forward, pushing Addy's shaking form behind him.

The red-haired female looked at me with wide, worried eyes when she saw I wasn't behind her, "No, no! No!"

The wired fence began to shut, completely cutting me off from them.

"Charlie.." I whispered, my bottom lip quivering like a child who didn't get that candy cane she was hoping for all Christmas.

Don't be scared, (Y/N). You can't show them how scared you really are.

"Ah, you see, it seems like you only wanted one back. Not two."

When Charlie tried to step closer to the metal protector, the 50 caliber set off right in front of his feet. Where is our sharp shooter? The familiar man jumped back, pushing my 'sibling' away more as she tried to reach for Cassandra and I.

They're really leaving us. Leaving me

"We're coming back. We'll be back. (Y/N), I promise you." Charlie promised before having to run off with Addy.

Her locks pushed against her face as she ran away from this horrid camp, not looking forward. Once they were out of sight, the man finally cut the rope that was bounding my wrists. No matter how much I wanted to blame her, I just couldn't.

Rather than punching her face in, I ran up to her, hugging her neck tightly. This woman had to go through all this for two years. Two years with the man who kept staring at me like a piece of grilled human steak.

How did she survive this long? Cassandra wrapped her arms around me as well, holding our bodies close to one another. Silently, we told the other that we could do this. That we could survive 'till our real family came back for us.

We had no choice; either stay hopeful or get killed.
