Who's ready for Halloween? What's your costume going to be? A treat with no trick from me to you will be updating every day until Nov. 3!

-----

We were all outside of our large vehicle, looking down each path carefully while Doc was busy with the only communication device we have.

"Citizen Z, this is Delta-X-Ray-Delta." Doc repeated into the radio for the hundredth time today with the same hopeful tone, "Copy."

"I'd suggest flipping coins, but who's actually got one?" I snorted at my own joke, knowing that we traded the economical trades for the objects that bring economical destruction to the world.

"Hey, check that out."

Doc had walked around the Tahoe and in front of the large mechanical sign that the Tahoe was parked beside. We came around to look at the extensive dark screen that was solid black with the occasional flash of yellow letters and an arrow at the bottom.

The sign blinked 'GO RIGHT!' with an arrow to emphasize which way to follow.

"Well, maybe it's a message from our guy." Warren spoke up, going out on a limb.

A brown strong and stable limb that we could all trust not to break from the tree. This reads Citizen Z. Who else would be able to do this? If it wasn't Citizen Z, why would those three--that don't even look this intelligent--waste their time if they felt confident enough we were dead?

They would've put more obstacles on the highway and that orange road if they thought there was even a possibility that we survived their first trap.

"So, I'm guessing, he's saying that they went that way." I uttered the obvious, examining the electric structure.

How did he even trigger this thing to work? There must be a generator somewhere that's still working. I looked up at the top right corner just in time to watch the camera wave up and down before settling back in it's original position.

Yeah, this is Citizen Z's handy work. Workers from pre-Z must've added a camera to make sure no teenager messed with it in some way.

"Let's roll." Warren ordered us, jogging back around the side of the Tahoe to get back in the driver seat.

We followed hot on her trail, taking in her command quickly. Let's get this show on the road. When we got inside the carrier, I got in first to let Cassandra be in the middle of 10K and I; kind of forcing them to be close so they can fix whatever's ruined between them.

Plus, it feels even more suffocating to be in between the two's tension.

Ten minutes into the small road trip, Cassandra and 10K still haven't muttered a single word to each other or any of us. Perhaps they prefer a more private area to speak in? I'll have to remember that and not follow 10K around so much.

Doc is quiet--which is unlike him--while Warren ventured too deep into her thoughts to be able to break her free from with just a simple conversation. The road down this path was even more bumpy than before.

Green trees that were slowly stripping down of their vibrate envious color seemed to be a never ending scenery for this long mission.

"Hey, what's that?" Doc asked, catching our attention.

I scooted upward in my seat, not worrying about a seat belt jerking me back down since I had taken it off long ago. I looked out the wide window of Warren's side to see a brownish-tan electrical truck parked crooked on our path.
