Ella -

I walked away from the door, trying everything to forget about the incident that just occurred.

"It was probably another boyfriend." I mumbled to myself.

I only have one technical boyfriend and it wasn't Ryder. Ryder and I have always been whatever we were , never official. So after we fell out I started dating Clayton King, jock of the year.

He had tried to ask me out again before Christmas break started but I declined. We weren't toxic, we didn't have issues, in fact we never fought. I think that was the problem. We were too perfect.

The guy who was at the door looked like someone Clayton would talk to. The "punk rock" kids seemed to be friends if not the best of friends with Clayton and his sea of jocks. So for the benefit of Ryder's integrity I decided to say he was Claytons friend and walk back into the theatre.

"What did the church people get you to convert?" Aunt Mali couldn't even get her words out as she was laughing much to hard at her own joke.

"Yea I'm a buddhist now." My tone was laced with sarcasm  which quickly causing the tension in the room to spike.

"Well we were wondering if the guys and the kids could come over." My dad starching the back of his neck in nervousness. "Ya know Mali hasn't seen them in a while and we wanted to um." His words weren't coming out.

I wasn't sure why he wasn't asking me for permission, but I could see why he wanted to.

"That sounds like a great idea. I can go clean up the kitchen." I stated in a much happier tone, spinning along the edge of my heel to remove myself from the room.

The mumbles of my father and aunt filled the hallway, probably all about to hop on the 'take Ella to therapy' train. Which I cant diss solely because as the one and only Hazza says "Go for therapy, it's important." Which I will boast about he has said it to me before.

I moved my way into the kitchen, knowing that the clan would be barging through my front any second. There wasn't much to clean but I needed to get out of the room where my aunt and father were.

It was probably a total of five minutes before my door was practically ripped off it's hinges. My uncle ash running through, brushing past my father straight to me.

"Can you do something for me?" He was out of breathe. He definitely made them run here.

I just looked at my uncle before nodding my head slightly in agreement. This caused  him to rush up the stairs to go retrieve something.

I turned my attention over to the living room after my uncle sprinting up the stairs to see Caleb staring at me, acting as if I had the plague. I sent a sly smile which was returned by the turn of his head, his attention fixated on my father.

I looked away, unable to comprehend what exactly happened. My blue eyes continued to pierce through his soul until he finally acknowledged my presence. His hazel ones filled with what I assume is guilt before he turned his head back to his mother.

Uncle Ash wasn't back yet, but loud rummaging could be heard throughout the house along with the newly added sounds of a very angry Crystal drawing Uncle Mikey in by the ear and Mia looking helplessly for me.

As soon as she could get past her parents she made a direct b line to the kitchen, swinging around the island and hosting herself up to sit comfortably on the counter top.

"Why didnt you tell me you guys had a fight?" Her voice was stern, almost off putting.

"Well hi to you too my best friend in the whole world." I sent a sarcastic smile before turning to place a cup away.
