"Why are you only just telling me this Axel? I can't go to dinner with your parents at their own house tonight. Your old home."
Adalyn paced around her room.

She nervously played with her hands and would run them through her hair anxiously from time to time.

"I didn't tell you earlier because you've been sick for the past 5 days. I didn't want to stress you out even more while you were still recovering. And why not? What are you so worried about? It's not like they'll hate you."
She stopped pacing and turned to look at me.

I sat on the edge of her bed and watched as she came closer to me.
"You don't know that Axel. They've never met me. What if when they do meet me they think I'm not good enough for you? Or not pretty enough for you? What if they think I'm horrible? What if they think I'm just some golddigger? What if they think-?"

She had begun to pace again and I could see the sheer terror and worry written all over her face.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and hers landed on my shoulders.

I brought one of my hands up to her hair and pushed it back. She leaned into my hand and I sighed as I saw the adorable pout on her lips.

The fact she was worrying so much about what my parents thought of her upset me. She had no reason to worry.

She was an amazing, smart, beautiful person that could make anyone like her. My parents included. There's no reason why they'd think otherwise.

"Precious. You don't need to care about the 'what if's'. I know the only things they'll think of you is how much of an amazing and kind person you are. It doesn't matter that you don't come from big money like me or that some people don't think you're the prettiest. Because to me you are. You are the most gorgeous person I have ever met except for my ma and sister-"
She let out a laugh and I rubbed her cheek lovingly.
"-And they'll think so too. You don't need to worry about them hating you because they won't. They'll love you Adalyn. Stop worrying."

Adalyn closed her eyes and let out a sigh. She opened her eyes and smiled at me. She grabbed my wrist and brought my hand up to her mouth before kissing it.

My eyes turned darker and I pulled her closer bringing her lips onto mine. She brought her hands from my shoulders and circled them around my neck softly playing with my hair.

God I love when she does that.

I laid back and brought her back with me so she was laid above me. Adalyn placed her legs on either side of me and laid her arms either side of my head.

I placed my arms on her hips and squeezed them before travelling behind and gripping her ass. She let out a quiet moan into the kiss and pulled back.

She smirked at me and I knew she was up to something.
