*2 weeks later*

-Y/N'S POV-

Jackson walks in "good morning y/n I have some good news." I looked up and smile "can I hold my babies now!" I laughed "no but I talked with the chief" he smiles at me and sat down at the edge of my bed

Alex walks in "good-" he stopped and saw Jackson "whats happening" Alex laughed

"I talked with the chief about y/n and being a intern here at seattle grace" he smiled at me and then Alex "and?"

Owen walks in "did you tell y/n yet Jackson?" he ask smiling at me "I CANT BECAUSE I KEEP GETTING INTERUPTED" he smiles "you are an intern at seattle grace hospital as soon as your ready and out of the hospital" Jackson smiles "oh my gosh thank you" I smile "of course y/n ive heard your one of the best" owen smiles at me. Alex smiles at me "now she gets to annoy all of us and not just me" he laughs "excuse me. you annoy me now I can finally get away from you" I smile at him. 3 different beeping sounds went off "were being paged to the E.R." Owen said

Alex walked over to me kissed my forehead "whenever im done ill be back" he smiles and leaves

Jackson walks over to me "ill be back y/n dont miss us to much" he laughs and leave

ive gotten really close with everyone here. Alex and Jackson are my best friends. im also really close with Lexie. were all friends but I feel like I finally have a family now. im ready to be a intern. im ready to be out of the hospital bed. I just wanna hold my babies and be In my own bed. wait- I actually dont have anywhere to go...

I lay there and watch the nurses desk. they gossip a lot about other nurses. i see running and beds going by. I wanna help people I always have ever since my older brother was dieing at home because we didnt have enough money for the hospital. I took care of him...till one day I woke up and he was dead..he passed in his sleep. I was 7 then. ever since then ive told myself id help everyone I see.

*later*

lexie comes in. and gets in the bed beside me she lays her head on my shoulder "excuse me" I laugh "there's been a restaurant shooting its chaotic. I was getting in the way" she said "where's everyone else" I asked her "Alex and Jackson have been pulled into surgery. Meredith and April is in the E.R still and Im sleeping shh" she mumbled. I laughed at her and ended up falling asleep to.

I wake up and it's dark outside

Alex walks in. He smiles at me.

"hey I got pulled unto surgery im sorry y/n" he says "its ok, Lexie kept me company. well we slept so" I laugh a little Lexie stirs in her sleep "this hospital bed is so uncomfy I dont know how you sleep" he says dragging a chair around to my side of the bed. "hey Alex what time is it?" I ask    "1 am why?" he ask "im hungry" I laugh "what you want, nothings open anymore im sorry I wouldve got you something earlier" I shushed him " you were busy its your job. its fine Alex really" "you want some jello?" he laughs "its food isn't it" "red right" "yes sir" I laugh as he walks out

mark walks in "hey y/n" he comes in "hello mark your girlfriend seems to be sleepy. you guys having to much sex that she cant sleep" I laugh. he laughs at me "no she's stayed at the hospital all week im not sure why" he says and walks over to us. he shakes Lexie and she groans and rubs her eyes "you all alone y/n" he asks helping Lexie out of the hospital bed "no Alex went to get me some jello" I say adjusting myself to be in the middle of the bed "ooooo. dont have to much hospital sex remember you already have 2 babies" he smirks I playfully punch him in the arm "shut up mark were just friends" "whatever you say" "get out" I laugh and point to the door "see you tomorrow y/n" he laughs "ill be here" I say sarcastically 

they walk out hand In hand to go home....

I cant wait till I have my little family and hopefully find someone to love me and my kids...have a big house. be happy and dont have to worry about life. the past. just live in today. 

I was interupted from by thoughts by Alex walking in with a jello cup "thank you" I smile 

"your welcome" he smiles. "whats happened in the week of the infamous Alex Karev when hes not spending his time with his patient" I laugh. he laughs and looks at me "you know just trying to keep you occupied. trying to keep my job. just normal surgeon things." he laughs making me scoot over for him to sit beside me. we watch a movie until we end up falling asleep
