PART 12

We headed out the door to the restaurant

we get there and get out the car 

I walk beside Meredith "you look hot" she laughs "you look hot" I say to her she loops her arm in mine and we walk in behind everyone else we talk to the waitress and put our name in. I walk away from Meredith and walk over to Alex "hey guys" I say. jo looks at me "hey y/n you look good" Alex says  jo looks at him then me "oh jo you look better in my dress than I ever would so glad that you stole it" I say kill them with kindness. she looks like a hobo in my dress. I dont ever want it back after this. "thanks" she fake smiles. I fake smiles to "did I interrupt anything" I ask "no we were just talking about me moving in with you guys" she says giving me a devilish smirk. Alex looks at me I smile at him "can I talk to you for a minute" Alex ask. he grabs my hand gently and we walk away from jo. "hey I just wanna say im sorry about earlier" he says. I look down at my feet "its ok it just reminded me of bad times" I say messing with my hands, I do it when im nervous. he lifts my chin up to where our eyes meet "I would never hurt you" he says as he grabs my waist and hugs me I hug him back "also y/n" "yea" "you look beautiful" he says I smile to myself. "thanks you look good to Alex. you clean up nice" I laugh. I walk over to mark who is talking to April Jackson and lexie. Alex walk back to jo. Jackson looks at me "did you hit her yet?" mark ask me "nope not yet" they all laugh. "but probably by the end of the night" I laugh

the waitress calls our name and sits us at a table I sit between jo and Jackson. Alex on the otherside of jo. April sitting beside Jackson. Meredith in front of me with Derek, lexie, and mark.

we open our menus and the waitress comes back to take our drink order "why is everything so expensive" I laugh "seattle my dear" Derek says. "hmm to poor to eat here?" she mumbles under her breathe. I ignore it we all talk about things I whisper in Jacksons ear "are you and April a thing" he looks at me with a serious face "to be honest I dont know" he whispers back. I look back at my menu and the waitress comes back with our drinks she hands me my drink and I take a sip. "what will you guys be having tonight" the waitress ask. "y/n will be having a piping hot glass of ale-" Jackson started to say before I kicked him under the table "ouch" "oops" I smile at him.  jo glares at me. I ignore her again. we all order and we wait "y/n are you excited to work at seattle grace?" mark ask. "yea im actually really excited Im thinking about general surgery but I dont know yet" I say. "yea im sure you are" jo mumbles I look at her. I feel a hand on my thigh. I turn to see Jackson. he looks at me "dont let her bother you she's doing it on purpose"he whispers. no one speaks, its like their almost afraid to. "so y/n how is Ryker" Meredith ask "hes doing good I think I havent seen him since he got out of surgery" I say "yea hes doing really good y/n, he's sweet baby. really healthy. I even held him, actually me and Alex went up to see him together  I really want kids" jo says happily. all I could do was look at her "yea y/n I dont see a reason why you cant take him home soon" Alex reassures me "you need to stop" Alex whispers to jo, but I heard it. I look at lexie. she looks like she's about to die with laughing. she's holding it in. I look at her and smile. it breaks her she starts laughing. I do to. we are a laughing mess Meredith starts laughing to. everyone looks concerned for us Jacksons arm is on the back of my chair he leans in to my ear "are you ok? do you need to step outside" he whispers I just laugh "whats wrong with you" jo says 

I look at her "the fact that you think you are or will ever be better than me" I laugh. she just looks at me she was about to speak but everyones pager went off at the table they all check it "911" April says they all get up but I just sit there "come on y/n" Jackson says I get up. Alex looks at me. he hold his hand out for me. I take it. he winks at me. as we run out to the car speeding down the road. 

we get to the hospital and we all get out of the 2 cars we were in. I get out and follow them in "whats happening" Derek asked as they rushed to put on the trauma gowns "train crash" he says they all rush outside to wait for ambulances to arrive. I wait inside.each of them take a bed then there's one left "y/n" Owen yells at me. I rush to the bed. "get me a trauma gown" I demand the nurse. I put it on quickly. "head trauma, broken leg, unconscious, a piece of metal through her abdomen.  Jane Doe" the paramedic says "trauma 3" Owen yells "I get to run it?" I ask "yes now go" I direct the bed to trauma 3, we lift her "one, two, three" we placed her and her pulse drops "shit" I say. I began compressions. and shock her "clear" compressions. "charge to 200. clear".
