dr Bailey walks in and rips open my blinds "get your butt up and get out of my hospital" she laughs. I groan and sit up "I dont want to see you in this hospital ever again" she smiles at me "sorry to inform you but you'll be seeing more of me" I laugh at her. she looks at me confused "im starting my internship here soon" I smile "thats so good y/n im glad" she smiles "do Everleigh and Ryker get to go home to or just me" I ask "who?" she looks up from her papers she was signing. "oh the twins" she smiles at me "thats beautiful but sadly just you they need to stay for at least another week" she says looking at me. i frown "but a week will be here before you know it" she smiles walking out 

Alex come in "y/n" he smiles I look up "hey Alex" he walks over to me. he has a bag in his hand he places it on my bed and starts putting stuff in it. he zips it.  I change into a pair of leggings and a big t shirt and pull on my shoes. "you ready" he ask me. I look around the room one last time. "definitely" I laugh and follow him out of the room the bag in his hand. I smile at doctor Bailey as were walking to the elevator. I press the button to the bottom floor.  I see mark, lexie,april,derek,jackson, and Meredith all standing there along with Owen and teddy and callie they all were waiting for me I walked out of the elevator and smiled at them "you ready to go y/n" Meredith ask. she was taking me to her house since she's off. I hug mark then Derek. I hug April and Owen  and teddy and callie. I turn to Jackson he smiled at me and pulled me into a hug I wrap my arms around his waist and he wraps his arms around my neck I turn to look at everyone "thank you guys for not letting me die" I laugh. they walk off. I turn to Alex who still had my bag in his hand. he smiles at me and places the bag on the floor. he grabs my waist and pulls me into a hug I wrap my arms around his shoulders. he squeezes me tight. I look up at him. he looks me in the eyes we stand there for a second. Meredith clears her throat. "oh sorry y/n ill see you at home" he laughs handing me my bag. he looks at me then his pager went off. I watches as he runs off I look behind me and see jo Wilson giving me a Death Stare. I look at Meredith "whats her problem" I ask walking out with Meredith as we talk to her car "who knows" she laughs 

*at Merediths house* 

I walk in "wow this is nice" "it was moms" she says "how many of you guys live here?" I laugh she looks at me "all of us. its always loud so enjoy the time now when its quiet" she laughs. "oh and heads up there is no privacy and in the mornings we all fight for the bathroom so get in there as soon as possible and get out" she laughs as we walk up the stairs. she shows me around "and you can put your stuff in this room" she says pointing in a room. I go in and lay my things down "who's room is this" i ask "Alex" she smirks at me and walks away I follow her to the kitchen. she starts making coffee I sit at the island on the stool "I see the way you look at him y/n" she says pouring the coffee in her mug "your drinking coffee in the middle of the day" I try to change the subject. "I dont want you to get hurt because Alex is heartless y/n. but with you hes different. I just dont want you to get Hurt because you've been through a lot" she says pouring another cup of coffee into a mug and pushing it towards me. "I dont want to get hurt my ex hurt me enough. he was abusive and cheated on me and I couldn't get out of my relationship because he would threaten to kill himself. he hit me and made me do th-things. he would make me have sex with him. yea I thought I loved him so I did. and I loved him so I stayed with him" I stuttered. she looks at me passing me the coffee creamer and sugar. "im sorry y/n Alex would be nothing like that. but he can be a dick" she tried to lighten the mood because she could see the tears filing my eyes. "so um y/n when are you gonna start at seattle grace?" she asked "maybe Monday" I shrugged taking a sip the coffee. it was Wednesday. "are you excited" she asked. "very" I smiled 

we decided to watch a movie. once the movie was over Meredith got up and went to her room. I sat there on the couch Meredith came back "hey I gotta go to work. they should be home soon ill see you soon" she says "bye mere be careful" and with that she walked out the door closing it behind her. I walked upstairs and decided to take a shower, the first real shower ive had in almost a month and a half. I turned the water on and got in. the hot water hit my back. it sent chills down my spine. I finished and got out. I wrapped the towel around my body and walked to Alex room. I shut the door behind me and walk to my bag and bent down to grab clothes I stood back up and looked at the door Alex walked in "Alex!" I yelled he squeezed his eyes shut "im sorry y/n" he stands there with his eyes shut "Alex!" I yelled again "what" he said opening his eyes and then shutting them again. "out!" I yelled he frantically walked out and shut the door 

I put on a black tank top with some grey shorts and I threw a light blue hoodie over it. I brushed my hair and opened the door Alex stood there. I look at him. his face turns bright red. I look away and then walk around him . I see Jackson walk into his room. I walk in "when did you guys get home" he jumps and turns around "just now why?" he looks concerned "because I was in the shower and must not have heard you guys" I say looking at him. he gives me a confused look "and?" he laughs "and....Alex may have walked in on me naked" I say . his eyes widen, he chuckles I flop down on his bed. "where's lexie" I ask "she's on call tonight" he says as he pulls on his shirt. 

I leave his room and go downstairs I see April in the kitchen she's changed and is eating something talking to Derek "hey" I walk in. April just looks at me and doesn't say anything "hey y/n how does it feel to be home" he ask "it feels good. it would be better if Everleigh and Ryker were here to" I laugh sitting beside April she looks at me and smiles "aww they have name how cute" she smiles. "yea" "well im glad your home" derek says. I decided to walk out after that. kinda awkward conversation...

I debating on walking into another awkward conversation but I realized what time it was 11pm. im exhausted. I open Alex's door hes no where to been seen I pull the covers back and crawl into bed covering myself up. "there's a unusual lump in my bed" he says standing in the doorway I didnt say anything. he crawls into bed beside me facing the opposite way. we didnt speak for a while but I couldn't sleep. time passed and I still wasnt asleep "hey y/n" Alex ask "yea" I whisper he tosses in the bed and taps my back I turn over "im sorry for walking in on you I didnt expect you to be in here and" he rambles "its ok Alex its just that I was scared because you walked in on me I didnt hear the door and no ones seen my body but..." I drag it out "I know y/n I understand. as long as we can still be friends" he laughs "of course" I say 

I end up falling asleep....

I jolt awake and sit up in fear "hey hey y/n its ok" Alex says rubbing my arm. I jump as his touch. a tear runs down my cheek. he pulls me into his chest. no questions asked....im so thankful for him...
