The next morning, George woke up before Alex who was laying next to him sleeping comfortably. George decided open Twitter for the first time since the accident, he saw that Mia had tweeted about the accident from Wills account a couple of days after it had happened with a picture of Alex's hand in Wills. George shuddered the image of Alex laying motionless and covered in tubes and wires still fresh in his mind.

He looked over at Alex appreciating how he was now home, not a wire or tube in sight. George read through the replies, the outpour of well wishes and prayers from other creators and the fans was overwhelming. People were  asking for updates on the man and George felt bad knowing nobody had given them one for over three weeks. So George decided he should probably do that, he snapped a picture of Alex laying next to him and posted a tweet with a caption explaining the past three weeks and thanking everyone for their support.

Hey everyone George here. I just wanted thank you for all your well wishes and prayers for Alex. I also wanted to tell you that they worked. After three weeks in a coma, something we were told was impossible happened. Alex woke up, I'm sure when he feels ready he will make a video explaining what happened in more detail. But I just wanted to tell you all that Alex is now home with me and doing as well as he can with two broken legs and a lot of bruises.

George felt better now he'd updated everyone on Alex, that was done now, he could just focus on Alex. George had never been so thankful for his friends, he was convinced he would have ended up in hospital himself if they hadn't been there to keep him sane and remind him to do basic things like eat and sleep and drink water.

Alex woke up and saw George was staring at him smiling.
"Good morning sunshine" George whispered when he noticed Alex was awake. Alex smiled up at George.
"Hey Georgie" Alex whispered back.
"You feel better today? You were really poorly yesterday" George said as he pushed Alex's hair off his forehead.

"Yeah I do, felt horrible all of a sudden last night" Alex muttered.
"It was the painkillers love, side effects of nausea apparently" George explained internally cringed hoping Alex hadn't heard him call him love.
"Oh well the side effects are definitely correct... that was really really shit" Alex sighed. George reached out and touched Alex's shoulder.
"It's okay I'll call the doctors and ask them to give you some anti nausea medication and then I'll force one of our idiotic friends to go and get it for us" George explained. Alex pushed himself up the bed and leant against George.

"Thanks Georgie your the best, I love you" Alex uttered truthfully. George wrapped his arm around Alex's shoulder and sighed.
"I love you too Al" Both of them meant it so much more than the other thought. Both of them hoped that the other was as much in love them as they were. Both of them did, they just didn't know it yet...
