I adore Yuta's and Jungwoo's friendship so much you all have no idea
• Chapter 59 •
Cho-a stood outside the room she had been in only once before, a while back just before she lost her composure right in front of Jisung.
What an embarrassing memory.
Even though Cho-a had not only known that today would come but also explicitly agreed to it, she was still nervous now. So, after briefly poking her head into the room, she took a large step back and hid behind the door.
Inside sat all the boys that had also been there the first time that they had their fancy supernatural meeting. However, today they looked even more intimidating.
Although she had already met a couple of the boys by now. Although she was quite close to some of them. Although she knew they were all good people, it all didn't help.
Because, today, she was one of the main topics of discussion.
It felt awkward and uncomfortable and she regretted it.
Slowly backing off, taking small steps back, she tried to--
Huh?
She bumped into something, turned around quickly at the arms that slung themselves around her waist. Eyes wide one second - then calm the next.
"Jisung," she exhaled in surprise but didn't fail to notice his raised brow and slightly narrowed eyes.
She laughed awkwardly, pointed at the room behind her.
"Thinking about it, who cares if they know? It's not that important anyway, maybe we should just leav-"
"Cho-a, you know I'm not going to force you," Jisung reassured, loosened his grip yet didn't let go of her. "I get why you might feel uncomfortable but they are my family, there is nothing to worry about."
Cho-a agreed. She agreed instantly.
But still...
"I won't know what to say," she mumbled, feeling embarrassed.
"Just introduce yourself. The rest will come naturally."
"I doubt that," she pouted.
"Do you doubt me?" he asked, fixed her hair. Whilst she looked up at him through big eyes, he acted as calm and casual as he could. "Or do you doubt Renjun? We are right next to you."
She knew. Of course she knew.
Her nervous expression, the way she ran her thumb up and down his forearm restlessly - Jisung couldn't help but smile at the sight.
"Worst case scenario, if you really don't know what to say..." he said thoughtfully. His voice trailed off as he saw a figure next to them. He glimpsed back at Cho-a quickly. "If you don't know what to do, you can always just drag Renjun down with you."
At the comment, a deep sigh came from next to them. Turning their heads quickly, they saw Renjun standing there.
"I'll help Chenle to throw you into the water," the older warned.
"Suit yourself," Jisung replied. "But I won't make her angry enough to even want to do that."
"You sound sure."
"I am sure."
A few, half-hearted claps echoed through the hallway. They bounced off into the meeting room which caused a couple of the boys to look out at the four that gathered there, with Haechan being the newest addition to the group.
