Chapter 2

(Responsible)

Contrary to Clade's black mansion on top of a hill, our new home is in color white. It is mostly composed of concrete walls, but some parts are glass walls. There's still a big garden, a fountain at the center, a large garage, a playground for our kids, and two pools, one for adults and one for kids. The mansion itself has three floors and a rooftop, just like his previous mansion.

We went straight to our kids' room. For now, they share a room while they're still young. Besides, Clay gets so protective of Carie that he doesn't like the idea of leaving her in a room alone. Their room is just beside the master's bedroom. It is also as big as it.

After we kissed our kids goodnight, Clade and I went to our room next.

The bathroom looks extravagant. I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Since I stayed in his black mansion, as well as my stay in his condo in Italy, I already familiarized myself with this kind of extravagance. It is tiled from top to bottom. There's a big mirror on the right corner where there is also a small vanity table full of oils and such. There are few cabinets on the top wall. When I opened them, I saw some soaps, scrubs, and other bathroom suplies.

The left part of this huge bathroom is the shower area and a jacuzzi as well. Both are bigger than usual. The yellowish-orange light above also made this room look more luxurious than it already is.

Even though I've seen the general design of this house before, I'm still surprised seeing its actual design in person. It took two and a half years for this mansion to be finished.

I guess I just have to wake up early tomorrow, so that I can tour myself in my own home before I cook breakfast for the family. I chuckled at the thought.

My body immediately relaxed the moment it felt the warm water of the jacuzzi. This feels like home. I am so glad that we're back here. Kahit saan man parte ng mundo kami mapunta, dito at dito parin kami babalik.

Sure we didn't forget all that's been done and all that had happened, but now, we don't really feel the pain anymore. There are still times that we recall the past just to help ourselves totally move on from it.
