Chapter 41

(Y/N)'s POV:

This can't be possible... How?! They were multiple pictures of me on the bulletin board, pictures that should not exist!

"This is her; I can't believe it." I hear someone whisper.

This can't be happening! The entire school could have seen these, and now everyone is probably talking about it. Talking about me. I feel my heart picking up speed, and my hands start to shake. I need to stay in control! This is not the time.

I snatch all the pictures off the board and run in the direction of the next one that isn't too far. But they weren't only on the boards, some were stuck to the walls, and some were on the floor. I run around and pick all the pictures I could see.

Did the people in my class see this? Please no... Anyone but them!

I run towards my class and find a picture on the door; as I go to remove it, someone bumps into me, and the door to the class opens, making me fall inside with all the pictures I've gathered scattering around.

"(Y/N)? Are you okay?" Kaminari says since he was the one who opened the door. "What do you have there?" he can't!

"DON'T!" I rush on my knees and try to pick up the pictures again as fast as possible before anyone sees them.

"Ooh! (Y/N), are these pictures of you." Mina says in a teasing tone and goes to pick one up that was close to her. "Don't be shy; it's okay. We would all like to see..." her voice dies down when she looks closely at the picture.

"What's wrong, Mina?" Uraraka says and looks over the pink girl's shoulder only to gasp and cover her mouth. "Oh my God..." she whispers.

"Guys, we should not snoop on people. We should help her pick them up instead. They could be private-" Tenya couldn't help but look at the one he picked up and understood the situation. He snatches the picture Mina was holding and crouches down to help me pick the rest. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look. Don't worry, I'll help you." he says in a soft voice.

Just hearing the softness of his voice, I felt tears starting to gather in my eyes. I see Todoroki also helping me pick the rest. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I-I'll get them out of the way." I don't even know what I'm apologizing for.

"You have nothing to apologize for." Todoroki says as he hands me a bunch of them.

"What in the world?" I look up and see Mineta looking at one.

"Mineta, hand that over." Tenya stands up and almost commands him.

"No, this is something serious. What is going on?" he argues.

"Nothing, just give it back." I couldn't help but speak out.

"Nothing? That's a younger version of yourself with Shigaraki. The leader of the League of Villains. This obviously needs an explanation." he insists.

"It's nothing! Don't worry about it!" I raise my voice.

"Was Todoroki right about you?" the entire class turns to look at me; the girls had sad looks in their eyes, and so did Kaminari and Sero. The others were trying to figure out how to feel about all this. "Are you working with the villains?!" my heart drops.

There it is. Doubt. I could practically hear whatever kind of friendship I had with them break.

"No, I was wrong. She isn't. I spoke without knowing anything; give it back, Mineta." Todoroki defends.

"Then explain why she is with him? As a child, they probably brainwashed her and sent her here to spy on us. She helped them kill All Might!" he stands on the desk so everyone can see him as he says whatever comes to mind.
