Chapter 22

"I've never seen anyone like him before."

"His smile is... dazzling." Despite sitting on the most relaxing chair, the man was sitting with a straight back and every button of his shirt was tightly buttoned. 

This was the first time Dr. Woo had seen such brilliance in the other person's eyes. As a doctor, he was both worried and happy. Among his past patients, there were people who met their salvation, gradually becoming happy and finding the hope to live. However, no one was born to save others. Once their salvation left, many patients became worse, jumping into the abyss with no turning back.

Jungkook spoke only a few words before becoming quiet again. This was already the most he had ever said. Dr. Woo wanted to take the opportunity to establish a conversation with him and praised, "He must be a very good person."

"He loves to laugh." Jungkook was silent for a moment. "He loves to nag."

"Is he nagging you?" Dr. Woo sat casually. He wanted the patient to forget his doctor's identity and open his heart to talk to Doctor Woo.

Jungkook was silent again before looking at his wrist and standing up. "The time is up."

"Sir." Dr. Woo followed and didn't stop him from leaving. Instead, he said, "If you want to talk to me about your friend in the future, I can be your loyal listener."

Jungkook raised his eyelids to look at the other person. "In order to let you analyze his character and mentality?"

Dr. Woo smiled and explained, "Sir, I'm just an audience member."

Jungkook opened the door and went out, waiting for the bodyguards to gather around.

"Go to City Plaza."

City Plaza was as bright as the day. Under the stage, fans were holding lights. The crew of Overbearing Female President were preparing backstage. The lead actress and third male lead weren't present but everyone seemed to have forgotten the existence of these two people. No one mentioned them from beginning to end.

"Jin." Ken moved aggressively towards Jin when Director Lee rushed up and stopped Ken, "Ken, if you have something to say, leave it to later. We are going on the stage."

Don't make a problem at this time. It was already known outside that the male and female leads didn't agree with each other. If there was a situation with the male and second male leads then his old heart wouldn't be able to stand it.

"Director Lee is very fast today," Ken sneered. Previously, he used to make things difficult for Jin and he never saw a reaction from the crew.

Director Lee's smile was a bit awkward but he didn't let Ken get close to Jin. "It is all for our crew."

In the past, he allowed Jin to be bullied because he knew that the actor arranged by his employer couldn't be offended. Now he couldn't let Ken bully Jin because he knew that Jin was the most popular actor in the crew. It was only when Jin cooperated that the publicity would show a benefit.

He was a director who judged the situation and didn't think he was wrong.

"Ken hyung, are you looking for me for something?" Jin didn't realize Director Lee's good intentions. Not only did he not avoid Ken, he even took the initiative to step to Ken's side. "Do you want to invite me to eat late at night?"

"Eat? Why is that you think of nothing but eating!" Ken passed aide Director Lee and sat next to Jin, tone stiff. "I heard you signed with SM Entertainment?"
