Felix's POV:

I was so confused.

One second the alpha looked at me as though he'd tear me up and make a  meal of me, and the next he looked at me in wonder and

is that admiration?

I was yet to know the names of the other five wolves in the room, and their auras mixed and pushed against mine, making me even more anxious and on edge.

It was too much for me.

After being alone for so long...

But being asked about healing perked my interest.

After all, I was brought up in a pack known for their healing abilities. Even though I was never allowed to join the rest who were my age, in education, I always ran away to my safe haven in the back of what was once my pack's library and taught myself everything I could get my hands on.

Which was the entire library, filled with millions of scrolls and knowledge acquired beyond one generation.

So yes, I can be considered a healer of sorts, although, I've had no one but myself and the animals and flora around me to test my skills on. I'm still alive surprisingly, so I'd say I'm pretty decent.

"Seungmin, rid him of his chains. He has no where to run," spoke the heterochromia alpha. I gave him a taut smile in appreciation. These chains were heavy.

I rubbed my wrists in hopes of getting my blood to circulate properly when a wolf with long blonde, almost silver hair spoke. Beta.

"Go on, are you a healer or not?"

"Officially? No. I, however, came from a pack of healers and have enough knowledge to heal anything that lives."

This time a chubby cheeked beta spoke to me.

"What do you mean not officially? And I thought you have no pack."

"I ran away, and in turn, was banished."

I wasn't ashamed of what I did. So I had no reason to hide myself, even so, I couldn't help but wish to conceal myself from this pack.

Why? I do not know these people, yet I am scared to be shunned by them. All the same, I fear them. I am better off alone.

This time an alpha with orange hair spoke.

"So let me get this straight-"

"You out of everyone cannot get anything strai-"

"BASICALLY," glaring gently at the cheeky beta in his arms, " you are an omega, an unmated, pack-less, banished omega...and how long have you been a lone wolf for?"

"Uh...three years give or take," I whispered whilst fiddling with my fingers. Most wolves go feral without a pack. The loneliness is not something our wolves can handle, which is why banishment is one of the worst punishments out there. You are being set up for death.

As for me, I was lonely my whole life. No friends, fake family and the only beings I could talk to were the old souls of the plants in the garden of the prison I was kept in. And even then, I only learnt of these spirits a few years into my teenage years- till then I had no one to talk to. (It is probably why my voice always sounded so raspy and deep, I did not use it for years and years. I still do not use it as often quite used to being quiet.)

"THREE YEARS?!"

My reply caused an outburst amongst the wolves, making me take a few steps back and flinch in shock and alarm. I hate loud sounds. It reminds me of my past.

It was only when the head alpha growled from deep within his chest as a warning to calm down, did I release the breath I was holding in.

He stood from his stygian throne and stalked towards me, ensuring my eyes were kept on his.

This alpha demanded attention.

As he stood in front of me, I couldn't help but notice how small I was in comparison despite nearly being the same height as him.  His scent- earthly with hints of chocolate and coffee- invaded my senses, (no one needed to know how my omega whined for his attention), close enough for his breath to fan across my face and cause my eye lids to flutter from the gentleness of this menace of an alpha.

"Come with me, little one. We have a lot to discuss."

And with that, he took hold of my hand, tugged me along with him as his pack followed out of the lodge and into the open.

....................

Third person POV:

The sun was set low in the sky as the alpha led his pack and the omega to sit around a large fire which had fresh meat rotating above it.

It was time to eat.

It was a personal preference of the pack to eat meat cooked, when in their personified forms. Simply because it was easier on their stomachs.

But there were times when they hunted as a pack, in their wolf forms, and feasted as wolves.

Blood was hard to wash out of their furred coats.

Felix, having the perfect view of the chiselled back of the alpha, couldn't help but marvel at each movement- it was clear the alpha worked hard on his physique.

But the open wounds that were scattered across the length of his back overrode his omega's hormones.

He must be hurting...

As the wolves piled on top of one another closer to the fire, the alpha sat besides the somewhat dog pile, staring fondly at his pack, before dragging the omega down to sit besides him and apologised silently as the wolf let out a yelp at the sudden movement.

"We should introduce ourselves. We'll go youngest to oldest. And you can go last, ok?"

The confused omega simply nodded, too lost for words, and quite grateful for names.

"That means I'm first!" Felix heard  from underneath the pile of limbs. "Hello! I am Jeongin but everyone calls me Innie! I'm an alpha and Seungmin is my mate!"

I need whatever this wolf is on. This much energy in a wolf should not be normal.

"I'm his Seungmin. Beta."

Short and straightforward. Felix didn't fail to notice the heart eyes Seungmin threw at the youngest whilst introducing himself.

"Han Jisung, beta and everyone's favourite," he spoke with over flowing confidence. Felix tried his best to stifle his giggles at everyone's disagreement, except one who simply smiled with tenderness at the beta's antics.

"Hwang Hyunjin, beta, Binnie is mine and I'm sorry for the person you will become after a few hours with this pack." Despite the apology, the beta sounded far from apologetic, and in fact gave the omega a cheeky smile.

The next who spoke was the short alpha he saw in front of the throne room. The short one.

A bright red flush was visible on his cheeks, but he cleared his throat and uttered "Changbin, Hyunjin's alpha and hunter of this pack."

"Lee Minho, lead warrior, alpha, Jisung's mine."

These lot were possessive.

And finally, the one he was curious about the most...

"Bang Christopher Chan, head Alpha of this pack," His eyes bored into mine, "your turn little one."

Little one.

" You all are already familiar with my name, Lee Felix, omega."

"Welcome to Clé, little one."
