Chapter 23: Something

Your POV

~ Timeskip, At Mondstadt's Cat's Tail ~

" Anything you two would like to eat? " I asked them. Venti's eyes widen when he saw a place full of cats.

" Anything you wanted to have, (y/n). " Zhongli told me while petting a cat, a lot of cats started approaching Zhongli.

" Achoo! Urgh... I'd rather drink at the tavern. I'm allergic to cats... " Venti said while trying to avoid a cat.

" So you haven't tried a single dish nor beverage at Cat's Tail? " I asked him, he sniffed and nodded. I then looked at Zhongli staring at the menu. Venti then sneezed.

" Wow. They have non-alcoholic drinks. " I heard Zhongli muttered.

" You two meet me at the park, I'll order takeout so you two can at least experience some foods and drinks from Cat's Tails. " I told them.

" Great Idea. Achoo! I better go now. " Venti said and went outside. Zhongli looked at me, I chuckled and nodded. He smiled and followed Venti outside.

~ Timeskip, after ordering ~

I saw Venti and Zhongli sitting at a bench while laughing and talking with each other, with no one around. " Looks like those two known each other for a very, very long time. " I heard someone said behind me with a chuckle. My eyes widen, I have a feeling he knows something about Venti and Zhongli. I turned around to see Kaeya smiling at me. I smiled back at him. 

" Hey (y/n)! " I heard Venti calling, I glanced at Venti, Kaeya then chuckled. 

" My, that guy is always glaring at me, he's just like Diluc. " He said referring to Zhongli. I just chuckled awkwardly at Kaeya.

" Well, excuse me Lady (y/n). If you have time, we can get a drink or two at the tavern if you like." Kaeya said with a wink and left. I just sighed and went to Zhongli and Venti, handing them the takeout from Cat's Tail.

" Yeah! Free food and drinks! " Venti happily said.

" Your elemental energy is overflowing around Mondstadt again, Lady (y/n). You're making me think you were a huge threat. " I heard a familiar voice said, my eyes widen when I saw Rosaria approaching us. 

" You skipping choir again, Rosaria? " I asked her with a smirk. 

" Tsk. I can't stand them. All they do is sing praises to the Anemo God Barsibato. " Rosaria said with an annoyed face. I looked confusingly at her and looked at Venti and Zhongli. Zhongli then started coughing, trying to stop himself from laughing, Venti just stared at Rosaria.

" Uh, no, wait... I think it's Bartobas. " Rosaria said, my jaw dropped. Zhongli then looked at Venti and started laughing. Venti just furrowed his brows and looked at Zhongli. 

" Uhh... How did you become a nun again? " I asked Rosaria, I can still hear Zhongli laughing at Venti. Venti just ignored Zhongli and started sipping the drink I bought for them. 

" Whatever. Just stop throwing your dust all over Mondstadt, or else you'll attract enemies. " Rosaria said and crossed her arms, I chuckled at her. 

" You impress me, Rosaria. You're actually one of those people who can actually sense it pretty well. " I told her, she then turned around and started leaving. 

" I guess it's the wind that's also carrying your dust around Mondstadt, (y/n). " Venti said and started eating the Mushroom Pizza from Cat's Tail.

" Ahh, yes. Barsibato... Bartobas... Whatever. " Zhongli teased Venti with a chuckle. 

" Ahh, yes it is, you old blockhead... you brutish blundering buffoon... Whatever. " Venti replied with his nose flaring. Zhongli and I just chuckled at him.
