Alina was bent over the bath tub, slowly pouring the warm water onto Venus' back. She was trying to wash off as much blood and grime as she could without hurting the girl too much. The mistletoe was mostly washed out of her system at that point and her body was hydrated again. Alina had ended up healing the cuts for her so they were fully closed up now, but the white lines that remained in their place would stay with her forever.

Venus had been sat in the warm water for the past half hour, not having the energy to actually wash herself. Her arms were wrapped around her knees, trying to hide the scalpel scars as best as she could. She felt ashamed of them, that she had been so weak to let them do all that to her. Alina had noticed but said nothing, not wanting to start up those conversations just yet.

After her body and hair were washed, the redhead wrapped her up in a towel and helped her back into her room. She sat the girl down on her bed as she found something warm for her to wear since she hadn't stopped shivering since they saved her. When she was dressed, Alex and Isaac had brought their dinner trays up to her room, not wanting her to exert too much effort on the stairs.

The oldest Fiore sits next to his daughter, watching as she picked at the food with her fork. "How are you feeling, sweetheart?"

"Okay, I guess." she replies quietly, not bothering to even look up at him. They all knew what she went through was the most traumatic thing to happen to her, so they didn't push her too much. But they were immensely worried. She hadn't spoken a word since her conversation with Stiles at the clinic.

"You gotta eat, Vee." Isaac speaks softly, arguably the most worried out of the three people in the room with her. "The saline won't keep you up for long."

Venus lets out a sigh, knowing he was right. She sticks the fork into a piece of the cut up chicken on her plate, chewing it slowly before swallowing. It only took a couple minutes before she was pushing herself up and heaving into her toilet. She hadn't had any food in her stomach for a week, her body was no longer used to it.

Isaac was the one to follow after her, holding her hair back as she pukes out the chicken and starts dry heaving. His heart ached as he watched her, further berating himself for not protecting her better that night, for not finding her sooner. At least she's here now and safe. But at what cost?

"I'm sorry." she cries, sitting back and resting her body against the cool tile of her bathroom wall, her head falling into the palms of her hands as sobs.

The boy sits himself next to her, pulling her into his chest. "It's okay. You're okay. Maybe some soup will be better, yeah?"

She silently nods her head and lets him help her back to her bed where her dad silently holds onto her as Alina goes to make her food.

It had only been a couple hours but she had successfully eaten her soup and managed to keep it down for now. She was sat bundled up under her covers with Alina next to her with 'White Chicks' playing on the laptop in front of them. Even though Venus enjoyed spending this time with Alina, she couldn't help but think she was hallucinating yet again. That this would all turn out to be some cruel trick her mind was playing on her.

A knock sounded on her bedroom door, turning the two females attention in its direction. Her dad walks in first before opening the door wider and allowing another person in as well. Venus had never felt as comforted by those hazel eyes as she had in that moment.

"Someone's here to see you." Alex smiles, knowing just how fond his daughter and the boy were of each other. Alina places a kiss on the girls temple before getting up and leaving the couple.
