Kat was walking down the hallway of the base towards the doors when it opened, Tai and Hal walked in. Kat smiled as she hugged them, "Admit it you missed us." Tai said
Kat shook her head, "Not admitting that. How was leave?"
"Fun. We didn't almost die. Once. And now Tai's been called back to help catch a man who has gone berserk and is killing people." Hal said
"Agent Davis."
Kat turned around and saw Jeffrey walking towards them, "Can I have a word."
Kat nodded, "Sir." She turned back to Hal and Tai, "I'll see you two later." She walked over to Jeffrey, "How can I help?"
"It's good to have you back." Jeffrey said as they walked up the stairs to the Directors office and walked in, "But I'm sure you remember when you were arrested by the authorities?"
Kat nodded as she sat down, "Yeah funnily enough I do remember that. It wasn't pleasant."
"Where you were being held, seemed to cave in on itself and then imploded. The government feels that it's your fault and they are once again calling for your arrest." Jeffrey said
Kat's eye's widened as she said, "Can they do that?"
Jeffrey nodded, "Your full file is on the web thanks to Black Widow when SHIELD first fell. They know who you are."
Kat shook her head and said, "They don't know who I am. That file isn't even the half of it."
"I don't even want to know. But what the government wants is you, in prison, on the raft, with a anti-Inhuman collar. Now that is the total opposite of what I want." Jeffrey said
Kat sighed and said, "So what are we going to do?"
"I have one idea. One that myself and Coulson have been working on." Jeffrey said as he slid a file across the desk
Kat picked up the file and opened it, "Are you kidding? Me? This? No, no way."
"It's the only option." Jeffrey said, "If we do this it grants you immunity, you won't get sent to jail. Kat this is the best bet."
