Kat was sitting on the edge of her bed in the base listening to a song when Jess walked in, "What did you do to him?"
"This was his favourite song, thought it was a nice song to be born to wanted it playing when Hope was born... I did something I should have done the minute I saw him again. I couldn't because to me...to me I was his everything and he was mine and I thought he the same person. I was wrong." Kat said
Jess sat down on a chair as she listened, "I don't blame him, the few years after I became a single. I went off the deep end doing whatever I had to...but then I met you and it stopped I became a better person. I've killed a lot of people in my time you know that. But that the worst one because it meant something...to me, he meant something to me and I'm sorry."
Jess nodded as she moved onto the bed, "Maybe I overreacted leaving and not staying to listen to you. I have no idea how hard this must be for you. You knew he was alive but you didn't think you'd ever have to see him again and now you've had to kill him. The first love of your life."
Just then Kat's computer beeped, she stood up and said, "He was a good many things to me."

Kat looked back at her and smiled before she looked down at her computer, she quickly took out a gun and pointed it at Jess, "Whoa!" Jess shouted as she stood up with her hands up
"Stay right there" Kat said

Kat cut Jess off, "Back up now!"
"You're pointing a gun at me. Why are you pointing a gun at me?" Jess asked
Kat used her free hand to move the screen of her computer, "Mack's paranoid. Put a LMD alarm in our room. Went off when you walked in."
Jess shook her head, "How do we know it's not you. I'm not the one that's pointing the gun! I very well know I'm not an android!" Jess shouted
"You would lie and say that if you were! You'd be programmed to!" Kat shouted
